Maybe you Crims need to form a committee and decide where the lines are in regards to sledging etiquette and let the rest of us know.

Merv Hughes could chair, and Warney could take the minutes.

We already know where the line is by the fact that in these incidents - and Australia is involved in lots and lots of them - Australia always stays behind the line and their opposition always cross it.

Just ask Cricket Australia.

Might be difficult for the poms to figure out but it's not really that hard.

Insult the man as much as you like, just keep family, race, religion and sexuality out of it.

Do you need pictures to help you understand?

You don’t own “the line”. It’s a cricket game. Warner should just play cricket and keep his gob shut. He asked for trouble and he got it.

It is really ironic that after several one sided posts of yours, you do do talk about people keeping their gobs shut.

South Africa is what you get when you stuff Australia into a giant copper kettle and boil it down to essences over a couple of hundred years. The murderous fauna, the long history of racism, the tangled ganglia of post colonial neuroses which explode into florid display when anybody is even remotely paying attention, all of these things which make Australia ‘Straya’ are reduced to a super-concentrated jus in the magical land at the bottom of Africa.

Why the Australian cricket team imagined they could go the niggle over there and expect the Yarpies to react like an awkward clutch of pink-cheeked English chublundons is a mystery beyond the investigative powers of Miss Marples and Hetty Wainthropp riding a giant mechanical Inspector Morse. But Dave Warner did just that, sledging the South African’s Quinton de Kock for an hour, until de Kock responded with a comment about Warner’s wife that triggered a brain spasm from the Australian. And because this was South Africa, by the time the next test rolls around, Warner and his wife are getting trolled not just by the opposing team, but also by all the shitheads in the stands and some even bigger shitheads in Cricket South Africa.

For all of the Aussies utterly ghastly behaviour (tut-tut old chap) it is a South African player that looks to now be suspended.

It's unsportmanship whenever Australians do anything, but it is ok for other teams to do whatever they want.

The umpires have seen fit to suspend him, good enough for me.

Dear oh dear, another super biased and childish post from Shavenhead, just as small minded and childish as posting a photo of SBW.

And as for the suspension, the umpires reported the bowler, who has something of a history of doing this kind of thing, and he was rubbed out NOT BY THE AUSTRALIANS understand Shavenhead?

How old is this guy in the mind i wonder?

Rabada wins his appeal and is cleared to play. Excellent stuff. No one wants to see the best players, or indeed any player, banned for stupid or false reasons.

Just to add spice to the series: Cameron Bancroft has been caught on camera sandpapering the ball. Very poor behaviour.

Is it time to ban the Australians en-masse following the admission that the team management decided as a group to cheat. Simply disgraceful. Throw them out of the country and out of cricket.

Australia captain Steve Smith has admitted that his side deliberately tampered with the ball during the third Test against South Africa after batsman Cameron Bancroft was seen taking out an object from his pocket while shining the ball.

The incident, which has tarnished Australia’s reputation on a giant scale, took place during South Africa’s second innings and the International Cricket Council [ICC] has already charged Bancroft, with Smith admitting that it was a decision taken by the “leadership group” within the team.

Sack Warner, Smith and Lehman. Bring Agar back into the mix. Merv would make a day cent coach, might make them harden the fuck up a bit.
