Sarah Palin on The Hour

Post by zara » Tue Dec 30, 2008 5:49 am

For Canucks and anyone who gets The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos, the Palin interview will be coming up this Wed & Thurs for their new year's special.

This should prove interesting since George is an unconventional and sarcastic host who isn't afraid to ask impromptu, personal questions.

I never noticed his style. A horrible boring interviewer is about all I notice.

George is a bit hit and miss as an interviewer. Seems better with musicians than political figures; still, it would be worth a watch much like going by a train wreck.

George is an awful interviewer, he is the CBC's attempt at being "hip".

Did anybody see it? The previews suggested the interview was conducted without an audience. Did he travel to Alaska for the interview or was this a special request from Palin's people?

I missed it. I was hoping to see it. I thought it would probably be highly entertaining.

It's on again now, as a re-run. If it doesn't put me to sleep I might watch it.

For those who wish to see it, they usually archive the shows online. Not up yet, but might be soon.

Well that was extremely boring and not worth watching. Even the Amazing Kreskin predictions for 2009 were more entertaining and interesting than the Palin interview... and they were pretty bad.

Have you guys seen the wedding photos from a ceremony held at a Waffle House restaurant? Tragic.

I feel sorry for Levi. He's like a dozen of my friends from high school. He's an ok guy, personable, not too smart but fun to hang out with. All he wanted was to get a job up north and buy a bitchin truck. Maybe go to Vegas or Cabo in January. Instead he's got a shot gun wedding on CNN.
