Off to this show. Looking forward to it.

Before any of you smart arse condescending types comment, note the amazing reviews this show has received around the world. I can't be bothered linking. See Google.

Brian May is no slouch. Enjoy the show, K2. I wonder if they'll be playing Spenard?

All I have here is either David Copperfield (again), or Cher. Thanks, but no thanks.

Jealous! I was hoping to go as I had flights to Auckland this weekend. But no.

Have a great time. Apparently one great thing about Adam Lambert is that he doesn't try to be FM, he is his own act. Which is good.

Tantamount to replacing Agnetha with Lady Gaga.

That's where you're wrong. All the reviews say he does a marvellous job.

Camp as a row of pink tents, but it’s a great greatest hits cabaret. Should be fun.

I didn't say they weren't, but Queen without Freddie is simply not Queen and I wouldn't see them if you paid me.

I would love to see the band live, obviously a thousand times more with Freddie but that ain’t gunna happen so I would take what I can get.

All the nay-sayers are full of shit. That was the best concert I've ever seen. Loud, rock, just awesome.

Taylor is looking old (he is old) and isn't as sharp as he was but still pretty damned good. May, though, is incredible. Still fast and agile on the guitar, and moves like a man 20 years his junior.

Adam Lambert is perfect in that front man role. Camps it up even more than Freddie, which is a hoot. And what a voice - the man is an incredible singer - great range and power. He made the songs his own, too.

The lighting and backdrop was amazing.

Average age of the punters was probably 50 or so but there were a lot of younger ones there. My 2 girls loved it also. They didn't know all the songs but they appreciated it for the spectacle.

Super impressed. First time I've seen Queen live (my one regret growing up was not seeing Freddie), so I'm a happy man to finally have seen at least 1/2 the original group, with Lambert doing a fine stand-in.

Nothing is certain in this life, but if that was a bet made in poker, I'd be pretty confident in going all in to call that as bullshit.

In the style of singing, he was definitely more camp than Freddie. In overall showmanship, maybe not quite.

They're heading to Oz in next few days. Playing Syd, Mel, Adelaide and Perth, at least. Brisbane too I think. If you can get tix, I'd recommend going.

I even bought a t-shirt - $50. I'm usually morally opposed to "merch" - the artist earns enough of my money, but hey, wtf a? It's only money. <--- these are words I do not speak often.
