I dont understand the question.

England's result has nothing to do with them going through.

Argentina?

Actually it seems that Roberto Martinez is getting the excuses in early, both Hazard and Lukaku are apparently injured.

You have no idea what I am talking about so you, love?

I think she has been listening to gossip at school today.

Some people are already looking at who England would play in the Quarters, assuming they win their last 16 match.

Yup, I heard it on the radio, looking at next matches etc etc

If they go through 2nd in group it’s better than first.

Is that wrong?

Don't know, there are still matches to be played in other groups.

What I do now is that when England reached the Semis in 1990 their route was Belgium and Cameroon.

I would prefer Japan and Mexico, this time around over Colombia and The Bosch.

Too true - England are fully capable of cocking things up without resorting to cheating. They’ll probably win by accident.

Their not going to throw a match, they might just rest a few of their best players.

That isn't cheating.

I guess if you put out supbar players that give it 100% and you l005e, i suppose its a tactical fair play, but still not very civilized.....
Telling players not to score or give their best in order to l005e for position in later rounds, thats just blasphemy.

What's a "hot mess"?

Super Slav raised a good point. In 2008 he rested some players in Croatia's last match and he thought they were flat in the quarters against Turkey. If players are rested that would mean they have a week between matches.

I'm pretty sure Kane won't want to be rested.

Degreeed....

IMO players neeed to play, especially in football/soccer/futebol, and double so when it comes to national teams, as they dont always get much playing time together.

A lot of times the last game of the Nfl season is meaningle55, and teams will rest players.
Sometimes it works, and sometimes a team that had momentum l005es the swagger they had, and get Destroyed.
Or it could just be they were not the better team, lol.

England are very capable of inadvertently self-destructing. They're never far away from a train wreck.

It's a weird one, I'm actually half hoping England lose their match tomorrow. As long as it's by an odd goal and with two teams playing their reserves.

Assuming England win their match after, who would anyone want to face, Sweden or Brazil?

And to be honest, Sweden are a real bogie side for England. Their stats against them are shocking.

So all things being considered, I agree with South gate that we should try to keep a winning mentality. But, I fully expect both sides to rest a few players.

Kane start. Bank on that!

I'm not surprised.

I was half hoping for a Premiership style classic.

England being Everton (past glory), Belgium being Spurs (always promising, never delivering)

It still might be.

Ano on form Lukaku in front a of a firing Hazard and DeBruyne is a frightening prospect.

From what he has written here, he is someone who has suffered great loss, his son; has struggled to cope, uses this board as an outlet for his frustration. A flawed person like we all are.

You seem to have a gilded life but still, you struggle with mental health from what you have written here. Your callousness to The Duck maybe part of this but, on the face of it, you are a sneering, obnoxious cunt.
