The Biggest Flops of the WC?

Post by jedgarandclyde » Sat Jul 12, 2014 10:28 pm

For me there were many, but the two biggest and best were the cry-baby Ronaldo, and out of form for years Fred.

It was so clear that Ronaldo was not a 100% fit, so why pick him, knowing also his fragile moral would be affected, why pick the guy in the 1st place, crazy?

And Fred, a huge flop in the tourny and perhaps the biggest, but he has been out of form for years, and no doubt the craziest of Scolari's crazy team selections.

No doubt chosen because of their reputations, the biggest flops for you?

Suarez. Fucking amazed the guy is still allowed anywhere near a football field, let alone allowed to play. The ban FIFA gave him was nothing short of pathetic.

Robbens.

One minute left in extra time and he performs the consummate faggot flop.

Yeah Robbens as well. I don't know how these divers can sleep at night. Strip the cunts of their earnings for bringing the game into disrepute.

Muppets.

Everyone in every sport seeks to gain advantage around the outside and edges of the rules.

The worst sports?

Cricket and basketball - cricket because they shriek for wickets that they know are not out and basketball where drawing the foul is exactly the same as football, only it's legitimatized.

Biggest flops of the WC?

England and Russia.

Q: How many times have the Australian cricket team gone up in unison for a wicket that they know is not out?

A: Tens of thousands.

The rumour was barca were going to pay 95, they paid 75.......
Seems fair to say he cost liverpoool 20 million with that bite, and he undoubtably toook a pay cut as well to go along with l005ing 4 months wages.

Gerrard toook a hit is well....... Chocked it away when i mattered, again.

All of em. I am still surprised Nike used Zlatan for a world cup related commercial.

Soccer dives wouldn't be so bad if the guys didn't act so dramatic. The screaming, the writhing, the feigning injury. Embarrassing. Basketball players can be annoying too, I wish they would T up players who act too much. At least they don't roll around on the floor acting hurt.

Diving is not bending the rules, it is a bit like saying the sun rises in the West and sets in the East by making this stupid utterence, by any standard it is just plain cheating!......................Every body of a sane mind seems to agree, Driving=Cheating, OK?

And a good point is made by the previous poster, the theatrical dives and the feinted injuries do make the diving worse.

And i do think that Robben has not been a flop at this WC, i do think he has added to his reputatation as one of the biggest divers ever, i see him as not a flop in this direction, but as a player perhaps not.

And as for as mentioning Australians appealing at cricket does show the bias one poster has, but for a comment on this, but it without doubt the tittle goes to the Indian and Pakistani fieldman's in support of their spinners.

And as for teams that have failed in this WC, it is no doubt Spain and Brazil, and to say different is just plain insane.

And to mention England, does say a lot about the tabloid like expectations placed upon them, sure they were expected to get out of their group, but all pudits did not make any mention of them to play any part in the finals.

Definitely Robben. I was glad to hear he won't be playing in another cup. He's an actor.

Michael Bradley stunk up every pass he made for the US. He sucked.

Wondol00serski missed from five feet. Boy am I glad the Klansman chose that wanker over Landon Donovan.

Spain had a bad world cup given their recent history. I expected them to be there or there abouts

Brazil went further than they should have done

Few in England rated our chances but going out in the group stages was definitely a poor showing given the players we have.

I'd go as far and say that Belgium were a flop as well, bearing in mind the players they had...

If Fallani is their best player then you know something's wrong...
