Also, my sister’s gluten free vegan chocolate cake is basically a slice of dark chocolate mousse.
Without eggs or cream.

Yeah, it’s pretty dense and tastes a lot like coconuts but isn’t human ingenuity marvellous?

"Mousse" means "foam".

It sounds like your sister is making fudge and calling it cake.

I don't much like the taste of coconut in sweets.

Don’t worry, you won’t get any pudding.

I don't inow that a dog would like that. I probably would, but i would improve it by substituting cooked ground lamb for the vegemince and rice for the quinoa; and I would omit the soy sauce. Maybe add some parsley, cinnamon, and toasted pine nuts.

Millhouse loved veggies.
Homer would find that great as a side dish to a dry rubbed pork chop.
MMMMM.....

I do. If I don't have meat for a while my body craves it.

The less meat I eat, the less I crave it. Not that I've been trying, I just keep eating vegan with the gf and over time I've found myself craving meat less and less.

These days it's pretty normal for me to go 2 or 3 days without eating any.

Don't get your hopes up Lincoln. I've been eating like that for years, phasing out of quite dedicated carnivoire eating, and am still in no danger of going vegetarian.

Still, I do find that meat in dishes like stuffed peppers, lasanga, mousaka somewhat overkill, and vege food a lot more satisfying if you don't rely on slim pickings like chips and carrot sticks and frilly salad.

?
Of course not, that's my point: that vegetarian food is much more interesting and satifying than what non vegetarians often think of when they imagine eating without meat.

I worked with a vegan who ate little other than French fries, potato chips (at least two large bags per workday), tempura veggies (deep fried), and fried rice. She weighed more than 300 pounds.

There are many vegetarian and vegan food options in LA which make it easier to try it out.
