Did it taste like you remembered, or different... but good anyway. It all looks pretty tasty in those pictures.

Well every curry I had there tasted different. Mine was what I wanted though. Will use less tamarind next time.

The roti needs a little work. The very last ones I made started getting closer to the right texture and I was sprinkling them with a pinch of salt before cooking, which helped. Need to get the stretching part right.

Forgot to mention that the curry was mostly chicken stock. Wasn't pure coconut milk and tamarind paste.

The roti look excellent! My connection is slow and finnicky tonight so I can't get your photos to load, but I'll be drooling over them later.

There's a new Malay place opened up literally 30 seconds from my house must try their Roti Canai.

Actually kind of happy you bumped this one.

Funny to me now to see that 5 years ago I had no clue about Indian food. It's such a regular part of my diet now. I make curries without a recipe regularly. I ate Indian food twice in the last 24 hours. It's one of my favorite cuisines.
