Sorry to hear it. I hope they can stitch up your oculus soon so that it is as good as new.

Get Tilt Brush, Google Earth, Space Pirate Trainer, Star Trek Bridge Crew, and Arizona Sunshine immediately. If you want to meet me send me a PM and I’ll send you a beta code to our product and we'll see each other in VR.

$400? What do you need to get into this at the low end? I've got a Samsung S8, can't you get into VR with a phone more cheaply?

Cool, thanks. I'll have a look into that. I'm utterly clueless about this stuff, but I'm interested.

I got SPT. It's pretty fun but not enough depth for a ton of replay value. I got bigscreen and watched Avatar 3D in a virtual cinema. That was pretty cool except that my nose got itchy and I couldn't eat snacks and drinks soda.

I'm waiting for the next steam sale to buy more of those things you listed. I only have space to use it from a seated mostly stationary position, so that limits it a bit. I can see how having a full range of motion could make it a lot more immersive. Main things that draw me out of the experience are FOV and not having all of my physical person in the virtual world (hands only). Sometimes cable tension on the headset or things brushing me in the real world also diminish the illusion. Overall though, it's a pretty cool experience.
