Yes, the thing in the picture is a solenoid valve, but what type of electrical plug (those two silver prongs at the top right) is that? If I want to find an electrical connector that matches, what should I search for?

Possibly NEMA 6-15R, if it's meant to draw from a mains wall socket.

Something like this?

22-16 AWG Red Nylon Fully Insulated Quick Connect-Double Crimp Female Disconnect

It's very likely a 12 volt DC solenoid that operates the valve.
