IE, google, yahoo

Post by Usher73 » Fri Apr 14, 2017 6:58 am

Shortly after midnight, my IE couldn't get to google or yahoo. I get "Page cannot be displayed."

It can get to other web sites, obviously, because I can post this.

What can cause different specific web sites to become inaccessible, simultaneously?

I wish I knew how to fix that, but they are still dead.

I probably will have to restart W 10.

I can get to google with chrome.

I use Chrome, but this morning I couldn't access my Yahoo mail. What's worse, once the notice appeared that the page was unavailable, I couldn't get away from that notice page. Finally, I just hit the "back" arrow about 10 times in quick succession and returned to my home page. I'll worry about the mail later, or maybe wait until Saturday.
I enjoy reading NorthAmerican's posts. So well-written and interesting except for the dull parts.--Nines

All is working again. The universe has cleaned up itself.
