Tea Party

What has happened to the Tea Party? They've disappeared off the radar screen in recent months - does the movement still exist?

They do exist and lost some prominent elections. Two in my voting area.

Prominently, nationwide, Scott Brown in Massachusetts, Todd (gag) Akin in Missouri, Mourdock (double gag) in Indiana. But Akin and Mourdock made wacky rape statements, so while they were Tea Party-backed, they weren't exactly promoting fiscal conservatism.

Tea Party

They're taking a lot of the blame for why Congress can't compromise, and so have low approval, and the Democrats having been trying to paint all Republicans as Tea Party members.
That's the kind of bold flavor they enjoy in Albuquerque!
