Good (well, interesting) news from Belgium

Post by chimes » Thu Oct 09, 2014 7:43 pm

.
The Belgian Kingdom (Constitutional Monarchy), recently got a new prime minister. He's young (38).

And, much like his predecessor the socialist Elio di Rupo, he was (in-)famous already for his views on the State of Israel where its treatment of the Palestinian people is concerned.

Let's cut this short: he is no friend of contemporary Israel.

Confident that those among you who would want to know more about this man, will manage to find some news/views in English.

The Dutch lately had a foreign minister from Christian circles, Frans Timmermans. His predecessor was a Dutchman from Jewish roots. And I've seldom in my adult life, noticed so much difference in our national foreign politics & statements, where Israel (the State, not the people) was concerned!

Just so you'll know.
Syria & ISIS may have taken over the global news.
But the near-Holocaust, the copy-Holocaust that the State of Israel keeps creating for Palestinians (men, women and children), is absolutely not forgotten!

Thanks, chimes.

It's hard not to notice the pronounced stand that so many European kingdoms take towards Israel, and how it differs from America's. For those of us who wonder what it's all about, people like you do a good job of explaining why.

It doesn't take long for Chimes to get back to her old beloved theme. I no longer swallow my gold teeth when I read her posts

Well, I kinda owe it to Mutha to stop stirring stuff up where the Jewish State or Jewish descent, is concerned.

But I couldn't really close my eyes to the reality of life. Which imo is that ever more people (whether or not Jewish themselves), have come to their senses and nowadays found the guts to truly criticize the State of Israel for its "Nazi" kind of treatment of its neighboring Palestinians.

I guess that by now, we're all aware (lay people and politicians alike), that nearly the entire planet Earth has fallen victim to what is basically nothing more than jealousy between two closely related peoples: the Palestinians and the Jews of the Middle East (+ their US lobby).

A "brother fight"...

I've said it here before and I'll repeat it : I refuse to remain a victim as well of that childish, tribal, fight. A fight that over the 20th Century right into our present times, somehow manages to keep the whole world in its grip.

It's incredible. Because in the very first place, it's so utterly childish.

And obviously not an encouragement to become "anti Semite", but outright anti Jew (where the behavior of the State of Israel is concerned).

Take it or leave it.

Your honesty is appreciated. Indeed, so many people in Europe feel the same way about Israel and Jews that you do. History and current politics clearly bear that out.

Even on this board, the prevailing wisdom was to put all the Jews...I'm sorry, Zionists...into a separate area. The moderator who took the most glee in running that system acted the same way you do, he just grew up with a different way of phrasing it.

His family and your family solved the Jewish Problem in Europe together, before the damned Zionist Americans came in and started telling you what you could and couldn't say.

Are you particularly powerless where you work, Disco? Very low on the totem pole? Is this board a way to address your clear, real life inadequacies by vanquishing Yurp? I know whatever blog you post your journalistic tripe probably doesn't have very high standards but really, libelling someone may get you into some trouble. Just a free tip from me.

Eric, just for your information (and @ all others who read this),

Your reply was entirely in place, when I consider how many European nations at present, try to turn their back on the State of Israel : for its near-Nazi behavior where innocent Palestinians keep being concerned (men, women, and most of all: children).
