Nice report.
Did you enjoy the wines of Cotes du Rhone? I'm a big fan, and I love Tavel. If you liked the rose, search out anything from Bandol. You'll pay top dollar for Domaine Tempier (if you know where to find it), but you can find other producers making excellent Bandol (mostly mourvedre) that have less of a cult following so command a more reasonable price. I've only had Gigondas once and I liked it but prefer Vacqueyras, if we're going that direction. Of course Chateauneuf du Pape is king, but we don't all have that kind of wine budget.

Learning is delightful and delicious. As, by the way, am I.

france has such a draw on me. i have visited paris over 60 times, and i stopped counting the visits many years ago. and, yet there is still so much of that city (and country) i have not seen ... and so desire to see. if france put its spell on you, and i am sure it tried, then you will be back fairly soon.

Re: A few weeks in France
About the only real travel of note I've been doing is for work (quite a bit this year since I started working in international admissions). That and the odd family-related trip. Haven't really been on here so much otherwise until recently.
It'd be great to do some extended travel abroad for a change (then I might have something of note to share!). Mostly have to settle for doing it vicariously through others.

can´t see any of your pics. Just "image" image. Other OPs I see a Underground symbol "-" with a circle around it.
