poop bag toilets

Post by rider5 » Sun Aug 19, 2018 7:41 pm

Are these any good for camping?

People are terrible about shitting in undeveloped areas these days. I'm also feeling like doing it the right way is still too much stress on popular areas. I'm looking into some of the disposable/biodegradable systems offered at REI.

They are now standard on guided float trips here. I’m too much of a Free Born Man to crap into a bag and then carry it around for a week. But I agree other people should have to do it.
This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

The popular floats in the lower 48 require hauling your turds out. I'm thinking it would be good for car camping. For more remote pack trips I don't think I'd like to be carrying it around.

Really?

In Brazil on Big Hiking Trip, all of us who were female and not post-menopausal got our periods at the same time. Yeah that was fun. "Hang on." "OK, hang on."

San Juan, Colorado, Green, and maybe the Salt rivers all require some sort of toilet for any overnight floats.

I was being overly broad in lower 48, I'm only familiar with the Rockies.
