Looks like I'm going to Gaza this summer.

What's not to miss? Any great restaurants? Wildlife?

Stay away from rocket launches and don't say anything critical of Hamas. I'm sure your resources will be spent well. I heard
Khaled Mashal in the market for a new Mercedes. And be careful.

Try not to hang out with anyone from Islamic Jihad in the months ahead, unless you're keen on being on the receiving end of a hellfire missile.

The complaint was filed by UK Lawyers for Israel and the Lawfare Project. The Charity Commission said that if further complaints are made against Medical Aid for Palestinians it will re-open the case and consider withdrawing funding.

Hamas controls any aid going in an out of the shit hole they created whether you like it or not.

https://www.philanthropy.com/article/Pa ... alestinian Charities Help Hamas Gain Clout
Despite the Western freeze on aid to the Hamas-run Palestinian government, foreign money continues to reach the militant group’s network of social-welfare organizations, reports The Christian Science Monitor. Analysts say the charities are helping Hamas provide services and rapidly build a core of support for political Islam.

Sheikh Yazeeb Khader, an editor of Hamas’s West Bank newspaper, said that Gaza institutions are benefiting from the money that has been “brought across the border and not checked.” Yet links between Hamas and charities are hard to identify.

Basem Ezbidi, a political science professor at Bir Zeit University, says most Islamic charities have some connection to Hamas. “It’s general knowledge that Hamas is running health-care clinics, hospitals, and subsidizing tuition. But it’s done in an unpublicized forum.”

Your rant is just bizarre.

Why would I want to meet Israelis living next to Gaza? It's irrelevant to my work. When I fly through De Gaulle for work, I don't usually meet with the residents of nearby neighborhoods to ask what they think of the airport. My office is in a suburb. I must admit I haven't walked to the apartments nearby to see what they think of my work (which I'm sure they never heard of).

Nothing has changed in Gaza and the thanks to that goes to Hamas. No matter what MH does there, it will only end up helping Hamas. Hamas would not have it any other way.

The embrace freedom in Gaza, DCComic style
https://www.timesofisrael.com/7-reporte ... uote]Seven Palestinian journalists in Gaza were being held in custody by Hamas security forces on Sunday, a West Bank-based journalists group said, as a United Nations official strongly rebuked the enclave’s rulers over the “brutal treatment” of the detainees.

A source at the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, who spoke to The Times of Israel on the condition of anonymity, said that the reporters were being held for covering protests against the high cost of living in Gaza, and were due to be released in the coming hours.[/quote]

I am kind of lean, but I don't know what that has to do with anything.

And I certainly am open to changing my mind while visiting, but right now I don't find Israel all that interesting.

I'm more looking forward to Greece in a couple weeks, and Serbia and Kosovo in May.
