They always do, on paper

How many ryder cup points does each team have?

For example, compare Garcia and Poulter's rankings compared to their points tally.

I'd say Poulter has to have one of the highest conversion rates from games to points in ryder cup history.

The plus point for Team USA is I am unsure how much of a benefit playing outside of Paris is to the Europeans, in terms of home advantage. I assume a lot will travel over from the UK.

There are slight differences between the betting services, but this one seems about average:
To Lift The Trophy: U.S.A. 5/8 , Euro 6/4 , Draw 12/1

The home side usually wins. And Europe only has to tie to retain the cup.

After two rounds of The Tour Championship it's Tiger Woods and Justin Rose tied for the lead at - 7.
Tiger is playing Tigeresque Golf again over the past several months. Comeback player of the year for sure.

Yes golf is a game not a sport. Suggest this goes into the whogivesafuck branch.

Golf IS a sport in the 21st Century --- the players work out hard in the Golf Trailer on site at all PGA events. They are athletes -- and many are physical specimens (e.g., Dustin Johnson, Tiger Woods, Gary Woodland, etc.).
