Never been there but I'll take you dodgy biased word on it. Although it does appear that you agree that Lincoln City are a shit team.

I may have ended up in the pub today for a Boxing Day pint or five and men watching men watching football - I may have been following the Crewe v Lincoln match (amongst others).

I blame Lincoln for this.

The Mighty Imps are "Breaking Away" from the pack. They are up 6 points (e.g., by at least 2 losses) over the next best team.

Saturday, January 5, 2019:
FA Cup: Everton 2, Lincoln City 1. Too Bad. But The Mighty Imps are still Mighty! In fact, the media report that The Mighty Ones could walk off the pitch with their heads held high.
Lincoln City is still # 1 at the top of the League Two Table with 51 points (after playing only 25 matches). The MK Dons have 47 points after 25 matches. But several of the other teams have played 26 and 27 matches, so The Mighty Ones are still in good shape.
Interestingly, today was the date originally scheduled for Lincoln City vs. Excretia City, but the match was postponed due to The Mighty Imps advancing in the FA Cup.

And on January 4, 1896, UTAH was admitted as the 45th State of the United States of America. Utah is a great state for tourist attractions.

Match Day, Saturday January 12, 2019:
The Mighty Imps score an impressive 2-2 Draw against Swindon Town as 2 Imps players get red cards and they are forced to play with only 9 men on the pitch for 35 minutes of the second half. They were lucky to hold on for the draw.
The Mighty Ones remain at the top of the Table with 51 points.

Good report steavo….yes, we had 1 sent off and then bizzarly went and scored 2 goals...we went in to half time 2-0 up but the second sending off did for us i'm afraid....you cant hang on with 9 men for long so I guess a point is a decent result but I tell you mate the managers will not be happy with that.

On a positive note MK Dons lost 4-3 despite being 3-1 up at Gigg lane....apparently it was the game of the season.

Yep, the managers probably want to kick some Imps ass for losing 2 players to red cards. There is no excuse for that happening. But remember, "Shit Happens."

Good photos, Lincs, but short on details: The Mighty Ones score early at 17 minutes, then hold off the Grimsby Boys who lose a man to a red card at 78 minutes, and that's the end, 1-0.
The Table:
Lincoln City = 55 points (after only 27 matches, so that's a big advantage with the ability to add points for missed matches, including the cancelled match against The Excretians)
Bury = 52 points after 29 matches
Mansfield = 51 points after 28 matches.

Bury won on Saturday. The MK Dons lost and are fading. The Excretians also lost and are fading.

It's a short week for The Mighty Imps as they play Yeovil Town on Tuesday, and then a difficult match against # 2 Bury next Saturday, January 26.

Tuesday Results, January 22, 2019:

The Current Table -- The Mighty Ones extend their lead:
Lincoln City = 58 Points (After 28 Matches)
Bury = 52 Points (After 29 Matches)
Mansfield = 51 Points (After 28 Matches)

Next Up: Bury on Saturday, a difficult match.

Good report Steavo !

Saturday will indeed be a true test as Bury are comping at our heals and are a good team.

We’ve signed 2 new players this month, one on loan( he’s the dude that scored twice last night) I’ve no idea what players Bury have but they are no mugs.

I reckon if we beat them then promotion is assured.

Can't stream Sky Sports, but I see that it is 2-2 at halftime which also tells me that at this late hour (for you) for a Saturday match it must be the televised match of the day that started at a special (late) time.
Looks like an evenly played match so far.

Match Over, It was a Draw -- Lincoln City 3, Bury 3. Match played in Bury at "Gigg Lane" venue, so The Mighty Ones did O.K. for an away match against a top competitor.

Now back to following Golf -- It's the Farmers Open at Torrey Pines where Adam Scott is on fire in Round # 3, and Justin Rose is close behind.
