I buy everything, Lincs. The essence of investing is DIVERSIFICATION --- dividend stocks and funds -- U.S. and foreign, growth stocks and funds, emerging markets ETF, bond funds and bonds for income, money market for cash. I even have a Europe ETF -- IEUR.
But nothing stupid like gold or bitcoin.

I love the stock market...it's like a sport isn't it?

I started 18 months ago i'm down 2.5% on my share picks but up 5% on my funds...so up more than i'd get in any savings account

But its such great fun doing the research....I've learnt so much and I spend more time on investment forums that I do here.

By the way, I considered some marijuana stocks in January, but didn't buy them. The best two were Canadian because Canada has legalized pot for personal use -- Canopy Growth was one and there was one other, but they were Over The Counter stocks, not on the NYSE or NASDAQ. And they were very volatile and too risky. Not sure what they have done since then.

And by virtue of returning a favour I give you 1 stock...William Hill...just dropped 8% due to regulation on fixed odds betting terminals(the crack cocaine of betting)...but very big in Your shithole of a country..well worth a punt.

I'd wait until Wednesday though to see if it drops a bit more.

That's Lincs. AT&T ( T )might be a good stock for you for income --- it pays a dividend of 6.3 percent, U.S. $ 2 per year per share. The next dividend pays on November 1.

Lincs, I just read the Reuters article from August 3 on William Hill company, and I looked at the stock..... currently at $ 3.75 per share with a disappointing earnings report from Friday. It's Interresting what's happening with that company and that they are looking to expand to the U.S. due to the U.S. Supreme Court decision on permitted gambling.
Although this company might have growth potential, it is not the type of stock that I invest in. It's too speculative for me.

All this because some master mason (probably not a true believer in the one true G*d) carved a 13th century imp into the column of Lincoln Cathedral.

Lincoln win 4-1 !

That score line is flatering though....theres a huge gulf between Premier League and League 2  ….it was like watching a bunch of spastics trying to play sometimes this afternoon.

Still a win is a win and the 8400 fans put on a great show.

2 out of 2 for the Imps so far this season.

As far as I know it is...that area of Lincoln changes a fair bit as there's a lot of competition so businesses come and go.

Theres a Tapas bar near there that when I went to see my accountant he mistakenly handed me paperwork for.....they were £192000 in debt !...I almost had a heart attack thinking it was my tax bill!

The mighty Imps March on....

Another win for us last night...this time at home to Bury....

We were 1-0 down at half time but fought back for a glorious 2-1 cheered on over 8000 wimps fans.

Second in the league to those cunts from Exeter.

It's another local derby this weekend, this time against Notts County.
