Super Rugby

Post by Geoffers » Sun Jul 08, 2018 7:09 am

It's the Crusaders to lose, but I'm confident they will win consecutive titles again. Home advantage guaranteed, unlike last year when they had to travel to South Africa to win the title for the 8th time.
Top Aussie team the Waratahs let a 29 point lead go when they visited Christchurch, so I don't give them much chance. Can a Saffer team travel to NZ and win? Maybe the toughest challenge will come from another Kiwi team. The Chiefs anyone?

Despite leading the competition by a mile, the Crusaders keep on winning. Best news is the Hurricanes and Chiefs have to beat each other up two weeks in a row before the winner next week faces the Crusaders in a semifinal.Go the Crusaders to win back to back titles!

Oh dear, journalists are saying the Crusaders will win the competition, unless the Chiefs beat them in the semis. Fuck the Chiefs, the Crusaders are going to win the super rugby title for the 9th time!Back to back this year, again, like the good old days.

A very entertaining first half, even despite the Crusaders being up. You watching Geoffers, Hatter?

Too much class in the end. Fiercely attacking team.
Up next, Waratahs v Highlanders.

Fuck Me, they are advertising now for the Rugby 7's Championship to be played in Los Angeles sometime soon. Nobody in L.A. nows shit about Rugby so how are they going to get anybody to come to watch this major event?

Three interesting quarter finals, I didn't see the one the Lions won, who are likely to have to travel to Christchurch for the final.
