Embarrassed for Australia

Post by Lincoln » Tue Jun 19, 2018 3:38 pm

What a disgrace... is this the end for English Cricket?

They win the toss and elect to field on a perfect batting pitch??

They've used 8 ( yes eight) bowlers so far and taken only 2 wickets...

This isn't even a pub team... it's a kids team.

Are Australia still allowed to play cricket?

Doesn't look much like Cricket that they're playing today.

England now have the highest score ever in One Day international Cricket... this awesome!!!

Is Scotland still allowed to play rugby? They just lost to the Eagles.

I would disband in shame.

Record loss for Australia - absolutely dire team - to get less than half of England’s total. They could follow on with that score.

Obviously in an experimental stage. Still, it could be worse, we could have lost to Scotland.

You’re not good enough to get a game with Scotland

This is what happens when you are not allowed to tamper with the ball.

Maybe Australia could get a game with Afghanistan?

Ahhhh a short boundary? Makes sense, the poms can't usually bat. Just don't mention Scotland.

10 points for correct use of the singular form of the verb to be. Everyone who uses plurals to describe a country or team is hereby expelled from this thread.

Definitely experimenting with bowlers, cop this one on the chin and build the team.

The benefit if this tour is that it’s identified a bunch of eligible players who are not good enough to play for a pub.

A top score of 51 chasing 480? Not even getting half way there?

Get your astronomical nomenclature right, the equinox was many weeks ago, we are about to have the solstice.

Build the team with different players would be a good place to start.

Alex hales isn’t even normally in the eleven, but stokes is injured.
