Eee bye gum its t'test up in Yorkshire.

Cracking start from the inventors of the game.

Bacons all out for 174...and England 47-0 for no loss.

Great comeback from England...so far,so good.

Par for the course for England, and test cricket in general.

One day, brilliant. The next day, atrocious.

The only dangerous bowler is their spinner ...he might make a breakthrough.

That Malan is shit isn’t he? I’d sooner see butler come in at 4 swishing that bat around like a maniac being attached by a swarm of bees on a picnic. It won’t work, but do it anyway.

Shaping up to be a cracking test isn't it?...the pitch looks fcuking awful but that strip being used for the test is throwing up some interesting balls...The batting order is a way off being sorted yet..agreed.

First you go putting Belgium beating England

Then Colombia

Now you can't spare time from a game which goes on for a week.

Seems like this Kricket Shit lasts all year long.and never goes away.
Wondering why the Brits didn't play in the U.S.A., circa 1700 to 1776 (the game did exist in England during this period and was very popular in that mid century period). it must have been because the American colonists would have kicked ass!

The only thing I like about Kricket is the old song, "Bradman", by Paul Kelly from the early 1990's. Bradman is an Aussie legend who kicked ass against you Brits in several so-called "Test" matches, circa the 1930, and the song tells his story.
Did you ever hear about the unique practice he engaged in -- bouncing a ball off a wall at various angles, and then trying to hit it -- which made him such a great batsman?

Yes he was a true great Steavo...although it would be interesting to see how he'd cope in todays era..

BTW cricket does exist in USA of America...there's a well known project over there aimed at run down, inner city areas where they play in the street...i forget the name but its credited with keeping crime down.

Well Fuck Me, Lincoln --- In the inner city 'hoods of the United States the players would use the bats to bash each others heads in.

Like is Good, Lincs -- The hot weather has arrived in Southern California.
Have a Happy High. We need to enshrine "The Lincs Garage" as a U.K. national historic site !

It’s insane. I feel the regulators are doing all they can to damage cricket. When you think how much sun we have in the uk, and then not to use it on test cricket. The 4 day game has been destroyed as training for the tests.

I've never seen any U.S. national team or college or amateur team play Kricket on T.V. It just ain't on T.V.
