I bet if he'd won today he'd have sang "Its coming home" on the team radio...alas it was not to be but it was a hell of a comeback from Lewis...from 17th to 2nd...not bloody bad.

He lost at home to Vettel. Vettel or Lewis will be the champion. You really have a hard time to understand motor sports

Vettels, Germany. Ferrari, Monza. Ferrari is a specific case because of the italians cheering for Ferrari no matter who drives the car. But for Lewis undoubtly, Silverstone is his home circuit as well as Hockenheim for Vettel. As I said on the beginning of this thread, this year will be more entertaining. Ferrari and Mercedes are very close.
The british had some great drivers like Jackie Steward Nigel Mansell or Graham Hill (not the idiot of Damon) but Lewis, despite his success, is a useless arrogant kunt for me.

What a win from Hamilton today...that was one of the best Formula 1 races I've seen in ages....to come from 14th to win is truly amazing.

Nice to see that German Schwein Hund crash out.

Well Vettel comitted a mistake at his home race but the season is still long and Vettel can live with that mistale. He has demostrated it before. What I really don't get is what you brits like about Hamilton, apart from being a brit? Unlike other great drivers he is really a sad cunt, the same for Vettel..

Lewis in pole, Vettel in 4th

Lewis with a 17 point gap.

Is this where he starts to open up the championship winning points difference?

American crowd?

It was at Monza you daft pillock - they're always going to be partisan for Ferrari.

Lewis always gets on great with the crowd at the American Grand Prix.

He's built a 30 point lead now. Vettel needs him to blow out of a race.

Indeed he is.

Assuming he is successful this year, that will be 5 titles.

He is 33.

Schumacher won his 7th title aged 35.

Lewis could make it 5 titles and equal the Argentinian in the US tomorrow/today and he loves this track.

Even now he is only predicted 3rd place in UK sports personality of the year.

What does he need to do?

Is there simply a bias towards cyclists?

It's weird isn't it. He got a lot of flak relocating to Switzerland and saying it was to avoid press intrusion (yeah right) but that was about 10 years ago?

They really don't seem to be forgiving him for something

Can he equal or surpass Schumacher?

He's 33 now, ze German was 35 at his last title.

It would be a tough ask. I feel that he might not exactly have had the superior car this year and it took his fight and driving skills to beat Ferrari.

Was very impressed with what visually appeared to be a sincere Vettel at the end congratulating him.

Hopefully we can get good competition from these two guys over the next 3 years, and Red Bull can give their drivers a reliable car.
