By far and away this forum's most entertaining, knowledgeable and seminal contributor.

Its a mystery Duck....he used to post religiously on here now he just posts every 2 weeks or so.

Rumors are he was in prison,on the run from gangsters....or my particular favourite...he's found a nice Laydee to occupy his time.

Gone up his arse, like this forum.

Seppo sports now account for 99.9% of all posts made here.

Sad.

Hasn't he recovered yet? Bumping your head against a piece of gorgonzola can't be that debilitating.

Bit like the Grand National you mean, with a number of fallers along the way?

If that scenario were true, you'd be dog food.

Geeky is probably throwing a drunken tantrum with vile epithets against other posters on another social media sports forum website.

Neither my parents nor I ever had a runner in the National, but we did at the Cheltenham Festival.

Where ever he is, thank god he is not on here111

And Duckie, Wink's future is under a cloud seeing that her jockey [Hugh Bowman] has been suspended, the trainer has suggested this would be a no win situation for her new jockey, and the owners now are thinking about because of all things involved retirement maybe an option.

I was going to mention that. I think Bowman has lodged an appeal. She looks a relatively easy ride, so hopefully another top class jockey shouldn't have too many problems.

Bowman lost his appeal, and the trainer has taken Winx out of her comeback race, and has said he now needs to sit down with the owners, and from what he has been saying since the jockey's enforced holiday he sees any replacement will be placed in a no win situation.

And he sees that her retirement is one of the cards on the table, and i do think this may be Waller's preferred option.

Why retire her just because her jockey is suspended? Crazy. It happens all the time - and many a big race has been won by a horse partnered by a new jockey who has replaced a suspended/injured rider. It has even happened in the Grand National.
