Now for a bit on fun, slap and tickle cricket!!\

The 1st game is on tonight, when the Aussies take on the Kiwis, after recent loses to the Pomms in the one dayers, can the Crims win against that famous 'Pub Team'?

If we don't, as Effie [From wogs at work] would say 'How embarressment'!!

Are the poms involved in the season-ending T20's or have they scarpered?

It is 3 sided comp, between the Aussies, Kiwis and the Pomms.

And i think the Pomms do a sort tour of the land of the long grey cloud, and play the 'Pub Side' in a couple of tests.

A 'Wog' is old Aussie slang for migrants who came mainly from Greece or Italy, the stage show 'Wogs out of Work' was written by a couple of young guys who's family came from that part of the world, and it largely from their persptective.

A very funny show that did run for a long time, and there were several up-dates to it over the years, and the premise of the show was turned into a TV show later, about these types running a caf'e.

A very funny show in all forms.

In the past they have wrapped up the summer with two teams playing three games which was plenty. The extra team this year will only draw things out for too long but the TV networks and the fans can't get enough.
I would have preferred to see an extra Test Match played (in Hobart) rather than a competition to determine who can hit the most fours and sixes.

Yeah, it seems that somebody is after some of the elusive greenbacks, why tack this thing on to the tests and the one dayers i don't know.

It seems to me it was the bean counters idea to just make more money.

I suppose someone has seen how much money there is in the Big Bash, and they want some of it.

Any way the final of it is on tomorrow night, and i would love to see the side from Tassie win it.

Sorry, they moved the Big Bash final to the Arvo.

The Adelaide Oval wasn't big enough for Jake Weatherald. His knock may fast-track him into the Green and Gold.
