FA Cup...Good again?

Post by Lincoln » Sat Jan 27, 2018 6:17 pm

All of a sudden i "Get" the FA Cup.....i kind of never understood the hype that the media generates but what with Man Utds outstanding 4-0 against yeovil last night and Newport up 1-0 so far against Tottenham i'm starting to quite like it...there's something about seeing all these top sides having to travel for miles and play in the freezing-ass cold on a crap pitch in Bumfucksville in front of a passionate crowd that really appeals.

Yeah, the Cup has always provided shocks, like in this round when a 'shit side' like West Brom can go to Liverpool and win there............................

And a nice touch was as the clock wound down the Albion fans started to sing 'There is only one Cyrille Regis'.

The game was dedicated to him.

Fair play, the Baggies deserved the win. We were shite tonight; goals from defending even worse than I'm used to, and that's saying something..!

Cyril Regis was applauded earlier on in the match though - it wouldn't have been dedicated to him if they'd lost.
