We can win this thing. The toss I mean. Beyond that... not so sure.

Just had a newsfeed that said the ICC are investigating claims that there have been allegations of match fixing for the third test.

Spot fixing rather than match fixing. But yes, pretty bad if true.

Australia are deliberately playing badly and still winning the ashes at a canter? Jesus, this tour isn’t getting any better is it?

That famous pub team [New Zealand] scored over 600 last time they played there, and later the Saffa's scored over 500 there, so my tip is in that at the game WACA plenty of runs will be scored, and the last test played at the famous ground may go out with not a bang, but a whimper for the bowlers..........................

As the Pomms now are now 4-190 odd i kinda doubt it, unless there is an Indian bookie about.

What sort of odds would you get about that?

They would be huge!!!

Ive got money on either Malan or Vince top scoring for England in this series so this is good news. Last thing I need is root to get 150 in the last test with the ashes long gone.

Once again we have this wonderful objective view from Lincoln, proving again why the Pomms are so disliked around the world.

But they did well with the bat, but it still must be a huge worry about the tail.

A record 5th wicket partnership against Australia and the poms were looking good but a piss-poor effort from the tail undid all the good work.
After batting first on a flat track they are at least 50 -100 too short but 403 is runs on the board so we'll see.

Overton trudging off the field late in the day clutching his rib area is a bit of a concern for the poms especially if Steve Smith decides to get in the mood today and Shaun Marsh goes along for the ride.

'tetchy'

What in the hell are you talking about Meetfree?

I was just telling how it is, the comment that 'Everyone loves the English', was even stupid for a idiot like Lincoln!!

But back to the cricket................................The wicket at Perth has lived up to its recent form, of giving some early life, then turning out to be a batsman friendly flat track, with it offering some spin and some keeping low as it wears.

Can the Aussies bat for most of the day, if they do they will put themselves in the box seat?

With Smith there, and one Marsh boys with something to prove, it is not impossible.

The 1st session may tell the story.

Broad and Anderson have bowled 41 overs between them and are yet to take a wicket.
Australia 3/314 at lunch.Smith looking good on 139.The deficit is under 100.

Good moaning Pomms!!

Next thing Meatfree will be in denial of is that the unwashed are 2-0 down in the Ashes Tests, and that Smith and Marsh are still there!!

Slaggs off at everybody on here, including his fellow Pomms, doesn't he know that he needs to stop whinging and moaning that he has already won the lottery of life?

But back to the cricket.................................The big question now is, will rain save the Pomms?

It may be a case for the Aussies [In LincolnSpeak-Dirty Crims] to score quick this morning, and try to win the game today.

Yes.With showers forecast quick runs are what's needed this morning.

Mitchell Marsh can come out and knock it around until he reaches his 200 then they should pull out all the shots and sacrifice a wicket or two in pursuit of those runs.A lead of 300 by lunch would be enough but a declaration may come sooner.Australia will only want to bat once.
