Thank you Lincoln, always the classy gentleman.....................

And on a side note, the Big Bash started last night, with the two Sydney sides doing battle, with the Thunder getting up in a thrilling last ball win over the Sixers.

A great start to the series.

Does the UK have those weird Euro stadium "sports" like tractor pulls?

(Wiki tells me it's popular in Australia. I've never noticed it.)

'Tractor Pulls'?

Like in the 'worlds strongest man' or something like that, were a man is pilled against the horsepower in a tractor, or some test of his strength?

Never heard of them down here, they may have 'em in the UK, but i did spend some time there yonks ago, in London for a while, and then down on the South Coast, and never heard of them.

And the closest to them down here i guess is the wood chopping and other such contests at shows and country fairs.

And i do think they are not stand alone events as such, but made for TV stuff, and for promotions and other stuff, i don't know if you could call it a sport.

They have plowing competitions down here. There's more excitement to be had harvesting navel fluff.

I've onky seen it on Euro sports channels. Seem much like Big Bash except all those Dutch were cheering for tractors got up like hotrods, pulling huge weights.
