Are City Unbeatable?

Post by Argonheart_Po » Wed Oct 18, 2017 3:03 am

Of course it's possible someone will fluke a victory, but is it likely?

Then just beat the only team in Europe out of the top 13 divisions to have won all their matches.

They're playing football that has never been played in England before, and only rarely seen in Europe.

Injuries and red cards and the odd make-up match will lose them a few.

Still, it's an incredible side so far.

You are in healing mode. Let's not get carried away here.

Pewter Palace is still slotted in a solid 16th, and way below Chelski.

As a city fan of 45 years I'm going to say yes. There will be a point in the season where we struggle for a few games. Napoli pointed the way to lay us during the week in the second half.

This is the best I have ever seen city play (next to the 2013 title winning team who scored a record 158 goals in the season, and played with huge flair). They are delight to watch, but they are not unbeatable

I agree with you. Surely they will lose sometime. But at the moment they're the best team I've ever seen in the Premier League, or Div 1 for that matter.

City should have been three or four up at half time. Arsenal were lucky it wasn’t much worse.

Still unbeaten. And now, after lashing Lester away, they are off to the best start in history.

They've won 10 straight; next stop is the longest win streak in history.

Oh, and there has never been as big of a points gap between the #1 and #2 teams at this point in the season.

Yes. Kompany has been out too. Otamendi for the last game. They’re playing with a make shift left-back.

One of the very last matches I ever saw was Manchester City vs Borussia Moenchengladbach at Maine Road when I was at Salford. I think it was 1-1. Even in those days, football was extremely low class.

I think that’s the pattern for the rest of the season. I hope United don’t park their billion dollar bus next weekend, but I suspect they will.

After your post about Watford earlier this season, i did think you would have handed your tipsters card in Lost!!

But i suppose you will get some credit back if Roy keeps Palace up.

Good to see he got such a warm welcome back from the West Brom fans last week.
