I want to be the guy who put a 100 bucks on the golden knights making it to the western conference final.

Houlda thunk it at the beginning of the season that the Western Conference Final will be Winnipeg vs Las Vegas.

Considering that it's a given Winnipeg will win tonight, what's the consensus here on the board, Las Vegas or Winnipeg for the Stanley Cup Final?

Eric, if Winnipeg wins and goes on to lose the Stanley Cup Final, do the people of Winnipeg pull a Calgary, or a Vancouver?

It's always possible; just takes a couple of yahoos who exploit the situation and cause mayhem. Young men are still the ones going to these things and they'll be the ones who will riot.

Hellebuyck fucks up again lets in the easiest shot of the game after his team struggled to finally put a puck past Fleury.

This could well be it for the series and the beginning of the end for Paul Maurice.

If Vegas wins the Stanley Cup, at least one brothel is going to give it away.
As if the Vegas Golden Knights needed more motivation to win the Stanley Cup, now a famous Nevada brothel is sweetening the deal ... offering a massive sex victory party if they can seal the deal.

A rep for Sheri's Ranch tells TMZ Sports ... they've noticed an uptick in business during the team's insane run -- and the girls have decided they want to show their appreciation.

Dena -- the madam of the bordello -- says, "If the Golden Knights win, we all win. Offering the team a victory celebration at our adult resort is the least we can do."

"The victory party will involve the full complement of over two dozen gorgeous women and the entire sex menu will be available to any and all players wishing to partake of the brothel’s highly coveted erotic services -- compliments of the house."

Allissa -- one of the prostitutes -- added, "If the Knights go all the way, I’ll go all the way."

Sooo ... go Golden Knights?

Fans mourn end of Jets playoff run
It is with heavy hearts we announce the untimely passing of the Winnipeg Jets' 2018 playoff season (April 11, 2018-May 20, 2018).

The Jets played 99 games in their 2017-18 season, winning 52 matches and losing 30 more in the regular season. The team picked up nine more wins in the post-season and lost eight times.

On a scorching-hot Sunday, the grave injustice occurred – an encoffinating blow from the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 5. The Jets fell 2-1. The Knights won the Western Conference series 4-1.

Fans openly mourned the unwanted outcome at the Whiteout street party surrounding Bell MTS Place

It'll be an anticlimax they always are-Ovechkin is trying but it's painfully apparent that he's not 100% and maybe never will be again.

Vasilevski is the key he started to look quite casual in the second period....

Not surprised at all that Vegas is in the final how is it everybody making out like this is some kind of Cinderella run. The Golden misfits my ass. They were given the most generous expansion draft in the history NA professional sports.

Vegas had the choice of either a top 6 forward or a top 4 defenseman from 30 teams. It was also rigged so they could grab a 32 year old 3 time Stanley Cup winning goalie. If Fleury takes care of himself he could play for another 8-10 seasons.

They couldn't even use all the starting talent thrown at them so used the surplus to trade for picks and fill holes.

If Vegas hadn't made it to at the least the Conference finals it would have been a failure on the part of their GM.

Yes, they were given a generous draft, but to say it was rigged, your venturing into Vancouver Canuck fan territory.

And to say that if they didn't make it to the Conference Finals would be a failure on the GM is absolute bullshit.

That's what you're stuck on, rigged? Rigged, set up it doesn't fucking matter. they had access to a starting goalie, staring D or starting F from each team. Is that literal enough for you Sode?

Wtf does Vancouver fans have to do with It? I don't give a shit I actually agree with the way they set up the expansion draft. Granted I wasn't taking about that

Calling them misfits or a Cinderella team is bullshit and damn right it would be a failure on the part of their GM but you don't like hockey so what the fuck would you know outside of a riot that happened once.

Disliking it, and knowing about, are two different things, plus being a gambler, successful or not, means doing research.

By saying that you thought the draft was rigged thinking that there was a conspiracy to make the Golden Knights successful is the Canuck analogy that I'm making, as they're all believe that there is some league wide conspiracy against them. And yes it is absolute bullshit that it would be a failure on the GM's part if they didn't make it to the Eastern Conference Final.

The golden knights were given generous terms in the expansion draft but that said, no one thought they would even make the playoffs nevermind the final. There was some serious errors in judgement like karlsson and marchessault. Fleury wasn’t as serious because the pens still had Matt Murray.
