St. Nick has 100% more Super Bowl wins than Andrew Luck.

Now in all fairness, that was a great advertisement for the game of roidball.

I can even forgive those who claimed to now be world champions and those who thanked baby jeebus

Chris Collins said it's still Carson Wentz's Eagles. I say nay. It's Foles' now.

What a great game.

Wentz is not going anywhere. Foles has 1 more year left on his contract. He either stays or the Eagles get a high drafy pick for him. But he made for that solid QB when Wentz went down

Ya, Foles will get dealt, most likely to Denver.

He played a great game, a well deserved MVP.

Foles:

1) wealthy family
2) almost retired
3) said he would only play for Reid when he decided not to follow through on #2.
4) will become a pastor in retirement

I don't think he's going to reflexively go to any old team just because of a trade. Contractually, PHI can require him to play for another team for one year...but they won't get much in a trade if he's not very happy to talk extension with the wannabe counter party to a trade.

I never dissed him, I just never saw him as a starter. he proved me wrong which makes me glad we signed him as a back up. Wentz played a major part in getting the Eagles to this and was having an MVP season

The Eagles got a 1st round draft pick for Bradford

Yeah, and Bradford was ecstatic to head to the Vikes to be a starter after the Wentz trade soured his situation in Philly.

I just wouldn't be surprised if Foles was to be unusually picky about where he's headed after his experience with Chip Kelly and Jeff QB-Kryptonite Fisher.

New Engerland is going to need a QB as soon as Saggy Balls gets hurt. The Giants are shopping as well.

I hope it's Denver, but I don't think John Boy likes St. Nick because he passed up several chances to get him cheaply. Now it is going to cost.

New England should totes pick him up. He’d be a good fit for The System.

Polar, does Philly go all Vancouver if they lose tomorrow?
I don't recall any sports riot in Philly. There were sone arrests u 2008 during the Phillies celebration. It turns out that those who were arrested were college students from out of town. After the 2004 SB loss, it was juts quiet resignation
Well they went a little bit Vancouver, not a whole Vancouver, though no one in Vancouver in 2011 or 1994 ate horse shit.

I'll bet if you swapped Foles for Brady in NE, after a season or two, he'd be in the GOAT discussions.

The Eagles are the better team, but that doesn’t change the fact that Pedersen outcoached Bellicheck. That’s intended as a compliment to Pedersen more than a slight to Bellicheck.

Still, there is something fun about comparing the resumes of the two coaches....especially when Collingsworth was engaged in vigorous sports commenator felatio of Patriots Inc less than 48 hours ago.

“this game is almost as good as that halftime show” what a fucking knuckle head.

. Teams seem to start out SB games playing with careful conservative play calling lie a series of run plays. Coaches are afraid of making that 1st bad mistake in the big game . Pederson was exceptionally bold in his calls

i always thought Pederson would be a conservative coach when he was hired. After the Chip Kelly era, that would have been a welcome change.

Earlier in this thread this exact topic came up and I was the only one in here correctly arguing that it was a TD. Jesse James of the Steelers caught the ball and his knee was down on the 1-yard line, so he was down. End Of Pass. But the defense didn't touch him, so he 'ran' the ball over the goal line and scored a TD while 'running' the ball in a lunge. Then he bobbled the ball and the dickhead refs said no TD.

Their awfulness cost me the Pick 'em title.

If Brady had caught the trick play pass to him, like Foles did, it would have either been a tie game at the end or at least leaving NE only a field goal to win at the end.

Different game, if he caught the pass. He ran like a 40 year old, and couldn't catch it like a 39 yo could.

There's two kinds of Lionsfan. There's the kind that are convinced every year that this is finally going to be the year they get it right (including after the 0 - 16 season). Then there's the Lionsfan that knows the Lions have gone over 50 years with only one playoff win - that fan is convinced that it won't happen in this lifetime. I'm in the latter camp. That said, I like Quinn better than any GM we've had, so we've got a chance to maybe be worth watching on occasion at least.

I'm not worried about him getting spanked in the Superbowl so much. It's just one game, and the Eagles jailsexed the best defense in football the week before that on the road. It's a pretty good offense.

I can't believe McDaniel hired a bunch of assistants and coordinators that whoever takes over in Indy is going to have to inherit. Wow did he do them hard. I guess Kraft is still pissed at Irsay over deflate gate.
