Autumn Rugby Internationals

Post by Stephen_Dedalus » Fri Nov 04, 2016 3:27 pm

Wales vs Australia
Barbarians A vs Barbarians B
Ireland vs New Zealand

I would be prepared to put out a huge cash outlay at miniscule odds in the belief that Wales and Ireland haven't a snowballs.

But, I think Barbarians A have a good chance against Barbarians B, after seeing Japan beat them.in the World Cup

No one this weekend.

We've been hit with a load of injuries.

South Africunts the following weekend, on the back of 11 defeats in a row!

England should win 4/4.

Wales might beat the crims but probably won't, and we know Ireland just don't have the belief to beat a SH side so they will go down in Chicago.

Itoje will be a huge loss.

I hope Hartley is fit.

...

11 defeats in a row.

Look, beating the other 3 SH sides in succession is no mean feat, even excluding NZ.

Do you know the last time?

If Jones has them defending like they did when they came down here, they will win and win well.

'you tit'

'You tedious twat'

More pure class from you know who.....................

But talking about sport, a very well done to the Irish, showing once again that the AB's might be the world's best, but beatable at times!!

They sure do wear their emotions on their sleeve, and sure do know how to throw a party, seem some vision of the Irish crowd at Soldiers field after the game, and the unbridled joy on their faces was a joy to see!!

After the Cubs win, the city of Chicago is in for some more celebrating!!

A very well done to the Irish for their historic win.

Every National rugby coach will be watching the replay very closely. In my opinion, you have to start well and finish well. They're the strong periods for the ABs. Starve them of the ball during those periods (easier said than done) and you're in with a big chance. Ireland did exactly that.

Is the next one at Lansdowne Rd? Great for rugby playing in Chicago, we should have told NA to go watch it.

Did they burn it down?
England v SA, Aus v Scotland.
I'll go England and the Wallabies, but wouldn't surprise me if Scotland give it to Aus and push em all the way.

SA will feel that their physical style will give them the edge over England despite their recent humiliations and it wouldn't surprise to see them get a result if it were not for the fact Eddie Jones has brought some much need Antipodean honesty to the England set up.

Scotland could well do a number on Australia given that the Welsh game has probably lulled them into a false sense of security. If the Aussies can beat England then that will redeem whats left of a pretty average season and I would image that's where their focus is.

Perfect storm in the Ire vs NZ game. Ireland played perfect (4 penalties in 80 minutes, that's got to be some sort of record against the ABs) and the ABs underperformed. Their injuries didn't help and i don't know why they didn't play Dagg.
I wouldn't be surprised if the ABs tear Ireland a new one in Dublin. They'll want to make a statement.

Based on past autumn internationals, no NH side plays SA, AUS and NZ in one outing, one of the others sides is always Fiji, Samoa or Argentina.
