I do worry, though, that one of the most storied franchises in Stew history may be entering its "Lost Years".

Oy vey. A meme has arose about my suckiness in this contest.

And I, or any other rational observer, would have to agree with the rooster's conclusions.

Not every one.

2017: my 1st Rd, 3rd pick overall, David Johnson

goes down, FIRST game, done for the season

2018: my 3rd Rd pick, Dalvin Cook

goes down, misses half the season, 2 rush TDs

2019: my 2nd Rd, 15th overall, Tyreek Hill

First Game, Two catches, then Down and DONE

And I was still one last Brees strike from victory

Damn you, Ron Mexicans!

Another in my continuing series, Whine!

2019, Week 2, with my second round draft choice sidelined for six to eight weeks or more, I work some magic and field a full strength squad.

Of course, my first round draft pick, James Conner, is immediately injured, leaves the game in the first half, not to return. Severity of injury unknown.

Then, Drew Brees injures his throwing hand, also in the first half, after accruing a record 00.52 pts., leaves the game, not to return. Severity...

In fewer than 6 quarters, I lose my QB1, RB1, & WR1

2019, nothing else compares

Because Whine!, to iterate, after a disastrous Wk2

I have injured QB1, RB1, WR1 on the bench

Leaving two bench spots available indefinitely

This can only end well

Hey! Anybody want to carry Tyreek Hill two months?

If Ertz could get destroyed tonight, that'd be great.

I just need Julio Jones, freeman, and the eagles kicker to die during half time, then Leveon Bell to go off tomorrow.

Just a casual 40 points put up by the Pats defense by philliprivers’babies.

Walked into a fucking buzzsaw this week.

Oh, and hey Alshon Jefferey - Coach Hill isn’t amused by you sitting out with a bruised calf or whatever candyass injury you had in the first quarter.

I’ll have you doing Oklahoma drills all week.

Speaking of the Pats defense, they brought out a recent Anno sighting.

Graveshitters Press Conference

Post by Gogo » Tue Sep 17, 2019 4:49 pm

The Graveshitters organization has decided to cut ties with Ben Roethlisberger. It has come to our attention that there are multiple sexual assault allegations against him. In the #metoo era it is important that we accept only the best actions from our players, and that we take a leadership position on these important issues.

There's been some talk that we are cutting ties with Ben because he's no longer useful to us, pointing out that these accusations were first made a decade ago. Well, I won't even humor that type of cynicism.

Graveshitters Press Conference

Post by Gogo » Tue Sep 17, 2019 5:16 pm

Going forward, the Graveshitters will not be rostering a quarterback. Instead, the plan is to acquire a second kicker and to deploy both simultaneously in a "kick first" offensive scheme. This is something I've been wanting to bring to the fantasy game since my days as an Aussie-rules football towel boy.

Well, Week 2 has Hampden Rovers confident of yet another campaign resulting in a playoff berth, their fifth in six years.

With five players on the DL, the Rovers can only just field a full team. But, hey, what a team! Look for Tarik Cohen to put the whole lot right on his back and carry them over the goal line. Four rushes for eighteen yards this past Sunday.

The Keith Stones are gonna have their hands full this weekend.
