Steveo, I think all the supposed golf fans on this site will owe you an apology if he pulls it off.

You were the only one who had faith that he would win another Major all these years.

Absolutely the very best Masters I've ever seen over several decades. And I liked the early starting time too.
Tiger Woods = True Greatness. His play from tee to green was outstanding all week. His putting wasn't the best that he has ever displayed, but it was still excellent. He missed very few short putts.
Also noticeable was how serious Tiger was during the final round. No smiles and no high 5's -- not even on great shots. He wanted it so badly.
And after he was finished with the round he was actually humble about winning. We didn't see the arrogance of the Tiger of 20 years ago.
It was a great Masters.
I would love to come watch The (British) Open Championship some time, whether Tiger plays or not.
The next Major I plan to attend will be the U.S. Open at Los Angeles C.C. in 2023, but my brother wants to go with me to watch The Masters some day, so maybe that will be the next one.

You golf fans of World of Sport will have the chance to see the real Steveogolf on T.V. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday -- because I will be in the small gallery of fans watching the Western Intercollegiate Championship at Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, California, and I will be following the CAL BEARS golf team's best players, Collin Morikawa and/or Sebastian Crampton for most of the tournament.
The college tournament is being broadcast on The Golf Channel with LIVE Coverage from 4 - 7 pm Pacific Time on Monday and Tuesday, and from 1 - 4 pm Pacific Time on Wednesday. There will also be Prime Time replays all 3 days.
You can easily spot Steveogolf. I'll be wearing my bright yellow Cal golf shirt and Cal Golf hat if it is warm, OR my dark blue hoodie sweatshirt with "C A L I F O R N I A" written across the front and maybe my warmie beenie hat if it is cold. I always wear shorts no matter what the weather happens to be. I WILL BE THE ONLY ONE WATCHING THE TOURNAMENT WITH A PAIR OF BINOCULARS.
So this is your chance to see a true golf fan in action.

A memorable masters but nicklaus’ 1986 win still surpasses it given how far back he was to win it. Still, a very solid performance. None of the wildness off the tee which has prevented him from winning before.

What surprised me to a large extent was his consistent driving for the Tournament.

Ok, so I missed the viewage; I didn't know they had an early start so I was doing my taxes in the office (no TV since changing from Comcast). However, going back up to the house they replayed the round; I watched the last nine holes.

Anyone see Michael Phelps on the 16th Hole (I think, the par 3) behind Tiger?

As a sole performance and the fact that he was 46 and hadn't won since he was 40, and it being his last major victory ever.

But, compared to the spectacular fall from grace, 11 year gap, him being 43, all the injuries and operations, this will be hard to beat as a sporting comeback story.

I have said many times on here that i did not think Tiger would win another major, how wrong i was, but the writing has been on the wall of late, a very well done to him.

I have said more that once that he would show flashes of his form of past years, but when it came down to the crunch, he would fail, for me it is one [and others] of the great comebacks of sporting history.

A very well done to him, and well done to Steve also in sticking to his guns for so long.

Kudos to Tiger for not walking way from the sport. he fought through what should have been a career ending back problem. Sports medicine has come a long way.

I do not think it was just about Tiger's health problems, i do think it was about getting his mind in the correct mode of thinking after many years of doubting himself and his game.

Full marks to him, good to have him back.

Tiger's golfing buddy is going to give him the Presidential Medal of Freedom for this.
If winning his first major tournament in over a decade wasn’t enough, Tiger Woods is going to receive a Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Donald Trump.

In a tweet Monday morning, Trump (a golfer in his own right) congratulated Woods on “the great victory” at the Masters and announced that he is bestowing Woods the honor on account of his comeback in “Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE.”

I didn't think he would ever come back.

The last few years, all the "Tiger talk" before every major tournament had finally started to die down.

This guarantees at least 5 more years of it, even if he turns to shit again or retires tomorrow.
Inserious.
