Hiding threads

Post by leela » Wed Aug 08, 2018 7:25 am

Foeing people doesn't hide their OPs, of course. So a 24 hour break from the madness of the board being spammed with one person's OPs, was blissful.
I'm assuming there's no option with the board's software, for people to click on a thread to hide it, so they can just see the board without the threads that (for our own sanity) we don't to see or be tempted to post on?

Many of us tried that, hatter. It would be nice to have another option though.

I tried and succeeded. It wasn't too tricky. Part of life's tapestry innit.

There isn't built in functionality for this. You could have a look through phpbb extensions to see if there is anything along those lines: https://www.phpbb.com/extensions/

I use Magnets to hide the threads of shitposters. You have to Temper them first, and then Align them. Highly effective.

Do you manage to hide your own, Zillion Handles cunt, seeing as you're the biggest shit poster (with multiple IDs) on this forum?

Thanks mutha. I had a look through but didn't find anything obvious. Some of the titles didn't give a clear idea of what they do, so I might have missed something, of course. I reckon it would be a good addition to the foe facility though.

I've not made a federal case out of anything. My OP was worded calmly, unwhingily, and simply asked a question.

Maybe read it again without adding an angry, moany or grumpy tone of your own.

Well you posted an OP on Streeterville about it and now you've gone an posted another OP on Sound Off about it. That's a federal case. Don't be such a control freak, just go with the flow a little more.

Maybe it's Zzzzz Foles, aka St. Zzzzz? He is the backup QB for the Eagles who came off the bench to beat what many consider to be the best QB in history- Tom Brady.

No I don't know your real name. I'm horrible with names. But it's not just you, I also can't remember real names for Lost Soul, Lola, or even for Mutha. I do know Pez's real name, but only because she emails me about gopher control sometimes.
