Post by VinnyD » Thu Aug 17, 2017 1:22 pm

There is no way to block individual avatars on the site in a normal browser. I don't know about Tapatalk.

If by "normal browser" you include desktop browsers, there is. AdBlockPlus does it.

I used adblock to get rid of any moving avatars. They're irritating and distracting, madhatter. To me, anyway.

I installed adblock plus, but can't see how to block an avatar.

Lincoln, no worries, I don't see yours unless I click on the post.

You have to tell AdBlockPlus to treat the picture as an ad. I can't tell you how to do that on an iPad, but would suggest just fiddling with it to see if you can figure it out. I imagine tapping either the image or the AdBlockPlus icon would be the first step.

Nothing happened when I tapped on it.

That's one of the very, very few avatars I always find amusing.

Speaking of avatars, time to change mine.

Probably, cane toads are known for their psychoactive slime..

Aka 5-methoxy-N, N-dimethyltryptamine
