Sigh. It's like one of those Christmas family get togethers that ends up with someone getting over-excited and causing a massive row. All those long held grudges suddenly coming to the fore after a few drinks, people taking sides, and confidences spilling out.

Ok I remember now. Surprised I forgot that. Had I not had a good recovery that would have been a painful blow. As it is the intention is clear and it's pretty despicable for that. What a dick.

I'll post a picture at some point. I've been cured if my pain condition and the scars calmed down a bit. I've abandoned my retired IFC look and gone with the middle aged thinning look, described as "the crap jack nickolson" look. Some residual numbness and twitching in the scalp but that will fade in a few months. Very happy to be leaving 2013 in vastly better shape than when I entered it. There's a 30% chance the condition will return within 10yrs but often if it comes back it's in a milder form, treatable with anti convulsants, and if I had to have the surgery again I'd be less scared having fine it before. Plus in 10 years there maybe alternative procedures like radiology more established.

So it's all positive. A big relief got me and my family.
