Marty was interesting in that her descriptions of every day life in Iran caused people's heads to explode who wanted confirmation instead on the hell on Earth Iran was supposed to be.

True, but I've seen enough cases of "three blind men describing an elephant" to be reluctant to dimiss either side of an argument like that....depending on the sources.

...the point being the intensity of anger those descriptions generated which led to the creepiness.

i used to enjoy marty; smart woman. she was from north carolina, and knew some of the same places i remember in the mountains. haven't seen her in several years, though. did/does she hang out on yazmeen's board? is it even still going?

IIRC..I wasn't yelling. I probably have a copy of that thread. Somewhere. And, once again, I will say: I can discriminate between RL and some people on the interwebs. And, once again, I will repeat one of the most flattering RL statements I've ever heard: "Your actions were inapprioriate, but effective." (That was the therapist, but it was just words, not actions.) The OTHER most flattering statement I've ever heard was when some guy saw a post of mine on a military board, tracked me down and called. (a few months ago.) "The one thing I remember about you was that you were always so calm, no matter what the situation." I suppose I was. I don't panic easily.

I think the mods are more worried about it being seen as an "endorsement" of (by hosting) repellent and utterly illegal behaviour, and its likely sitting in their forum, never to see the light of day again.

Whoops, I meant to move it to Famous Dishes. It should be there now. There is a hidden forum that also starts with an "F."

Didn't he threaten to sue Carson too? Or he was threatening to sue Toytone?

Carson wanted to sue the board, I think. Could have made for a great class action lawsuit....

I had forgotten ToyTone threatened to use the board

This is getting ridiculous. You guys use creepy to describe anything! Come on now, get that vocabulary working. For example, ToyTone's tantrum wasnt creepy. Jelly Belly's email to Scrotum wasn't creepy. They may have been sick and twisted reactions that show a high level if immaturity. But they're not creepy- worse maybe, though.

So come on now, try a little harder.

Here's the original of that video,. Maybe some of it is NSFW in terms of the faces and gestures he makes.

He claimed on the Howard Stern Show that it's half kidding half serious, meant to be funny and as a warning and to be real.

Anyway, after watching once, you'll be singing along "I use two hands sometimes"

Since then, we have learned that he a habitual liar about himself, others, and any subject that others might bring up. Why, in fact, he made up shit about me in this thread several times. I am wary of him though, since he might bring up a thread from ten years ago in a snap. He lives in the internet fantasyland. That seems to be his life, which is pretty creepy. What do you expect from someone who has an entry-level job for over 10 years and thinks that traveling every week to some podunk suburb is just great. Normal people try to get promoted into a management position, but he would rather be on many different websites all day long, saying the same make believe garbage over and over again. Sounds like fun to be in his mind...what little there is of it.
One famous poster once said...." I look around the house to see what she doesn't have and then I get her it."

Another famous poster uttered: "I have known non-whites who thought of themselves as expats."

You must work on your composition skills; try to write sentences that have a sense of flow, purpose and readability. The 1972 Chilton's auto manual for the Dodge Dart is a far more satisfying and artfully crafted document than any of your attempts at using the written word as a form of communication. If aliens somehow stumbled upon your written thoughts, they would conclude earth had no intelligent life.
