Site sluggishness

Post by muthafunky » Thu Aug 07, 2014 12:14 am

I've seen the slowdown, looks like it's affecting everyone. Despite rebooting the server and looking at the server vitals I don't see any obvious problem. I've sent a support ticket to our webhost, hopefully they can get things going again. I'll send an update when I hear something useful back.

It's magically fixed for me! Apparently you're like my tech team at work, they can just stand by my computer and whatever problem I was having is suddenly gone and impossible to recreate.

Slow for me again too.

Brings back fond memories of using AOL in 1999 though.

Geez that dialup porn was slow and small. We had to use imagination in those days I tells you!

Like lolasf, I spoke too soon. An hour or so after I said things were back to normal again, they weren't.

It's slow again now (7:10 a.m. CST), but not as slow as 24 hours ago.

Yes, the good old days of dial-up connections! One thing that got me out of the house and to the office on time was what I think was called a T1 connection at work; instantaneous Web access.

Having dealt with vendors professionally MF is correct, no explanation = limited liabilty. Tracert is irrelevant.
