Remember when school shootings were a big deal?

Post by BulletPark » Wed Feb 14, 2018 9:52 pm

Now it's just kind of one of those things you see in the papers and then check the gun company stocks to see if they've gone up again (they always do).

But hey - if little Timmy has his head blown off his fucking neck, at least an Oxfam rapist isn't the issue.

According to a gun company that publicly trades, whenever there's a mass shooting, the gun nuts run out and buy more guns, causing stocks to surge slightly upward.

I know, it wouldn't be the sort of thing I'd be publically sharing either. On the other hand, don't shoot the messenger. If you'll pardon the pun.

Thoughts and prayers... too soon to talk politics and gun control.

Remington Arms declared bankruptcy yesterday.

It seems the best way to boost gun sales is to try and ban them, Maobama style.

This link includes video from inside the school.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/school-sho ... e-updates/

I am going to share the hell out of it so that maybe just one or two "2nd amendment" people will get a feeling of the terror these kids felt.

BP- I don't know where you are but it is still a very big thing here- at least one dead and 20 injured. I know what you are trying to say but it is still awful awful awful. And that video is terrifying.

This was once something that if it happened anywhere in the whole US the country ground psychologically to a halt for a week.

Now if it's not in the little red schoolhouse down the lane, people say "such terrible news" and get back to Candy Crush.

I have said it before and I will say it again: until someone shoots up an NRA rally there will be no change in gun laws in this country. And that is not an exhortation to shoot up an NRA rally. Although at this point I think the coming of that day is inevitable.

Is it possible to hedge on this?

Is there a seasonal pattern behind these shootings?

As I've said before, I also think news media should voluntarily not publish the name and details of the shooter. It's a good way to get famous fast.

Today is the 10 year anniversary of the school shooting I was distantly connected to. It broke me. I gave up. Now all I see is a script and the racist aspects of the Second Amendment freaks and gun policy

Yesterday’s police Commander shooting was interesting, I was in the middle of the aftermath for a bit but kept posting on the stew

Yes, another Amerigun Massacre, a regular mundane event in Amerigun. There was a big one in the Midwest last month, but the wounded/death count was below 15, so I didn't make my usual Stew post.

Guns are what make the USA the most freeeeest country in the world, so a few little kids getting their heads blown off every once in a while is necessary for our Second Amendment freedoms collateral damage.

Thoughts and prayers, peoples.

We get the usual scum that get on this thread and what to talk about other things, or push their poiltical views, then do nothing so it will happen again in a couple of weeks were some innocents [Yes, plural] will be killed with a gun.

At the moment Poo has 5 threads going about the evils of Oxfam and aid workers, should he not get his priority's right?

I always turn to Brietbart for proper guidance about Amerigun massacres:

This is too stinkin' sad!
You can bet the the no-guns lobby
will try to "blame" our 2nd Amendment rights to bear arms -- and now, somehow try and add blame on Trump into the mix!!

So true! The current restrictions on carrying weapons is clearly what is causing these shootings. When will the left figure out that the only way to fight fire is with fire. Students should all be carrying weapons so they can defend themselves from these sickos!!! A shooter won't get very far when facing a school full of gun carrying teenagers! How many more children need to die before the left figures it out?

Yup. Fire-power is what made his country great and your gonna get some collateral damage from that now and then in a multiracial country like ours. But open carry for all is the best way to stop gun violence. Fight fire with fire.

2018 VDM - 17 schoolchildren killed - will be forgotten by tomorrow.

17 dead kids is bad.

Robots equate gun ownership with bad people.

Five minutes ago Robots blew a circuit trying to say that not all aid-workers are rapists.

Robots - are the vast majority of gun owners bad people?
