What 'traditional' foods do you make every year at this time?

We often do prime rib w/yorkshire pudding for christmas, but I think this year we're going to have maine lobsters.
My revolutionary farmer friend once labeled me as "severely creative." Yes, yes, I like tall-bike building and riding, making fermented foods, wild-crafting and being silent in places where there are no human sounds.

I want to go to your house.

I don't make anything special (usually turkey) but my cousin makes these really great cayenne crackers and also candy-cane cookies that I really like.

Generally, Casa Oakley has Italian food on holidays, except for Thanksgiving.
This year, Swiss Chard Ravioli, with Cuccidahti for dessert. Scratch, natch.
You meet the same folks on the way up as you do on the way down.

I do a prime rib on Christmas Eve,going over to the relatives Christmas Day
Gonna make Yorkshire puddding this year
That reminds me I need to order my beef from my supplier in eastern WA

For dessert I found a great recipe for semifreddo with cerries and chocolate

Maybe I should follow judi's model and do the rib C-Eve, and the lobsters christmas day.

s8- Christmas Eve has always been more special in the judik household
Christmas Day always seems like a letdown,if I wasn't invited to the relatives I would probably do leftovers
