England, France, Argentina, Americas 1, Oceania 2
Australia , Wales, Georgia, Oceania 1, Americas 2

Just watched the draw live, that's how it sits.

I'm ok with that. Wanted to get Aus and France but this should be ok.

New Zealand didn't get the fixed group?

Something went wrong.

What? By any metric that's the closest group of all. They'll kill each other.

Because, at home, for Japan, it is all about going past group stage.

So, bagging Scotland as 2nd group seed will always be a tick.

Let's wait and see who the "lesser" teams are.

No Wales and Australia in England's group this time round, but there's still France and Argentina.
2 years out, who knows how the RWC will play out.

Odd, from what i've read the consensus seems to be that Groups A and C are the tougher ones yet you call C the easiest group.

I never said it was the easiest group.

I said it was a group with the best chance for Japan to finish second.

As a group, inclusive of Japan, it isn't the easiest.

Group A looks the easiest, have any of them ever made a semifinal?

Aus will have Tonga or Samoa in their group.

Or Fiji. I'd guess Samoa will be Oceania 1 and Fiji will be Oceania 2. So no Tonga, but they'll give Fiji a good fight for the spot.

Scotland reached the semi-final in 1991

You are off the pub quiz team.

Scotland don't count, they've never been any good. There are as many Kiwis in the Lions squad as Scots, and if Hartley gets called up, there will be 50% more.

You asked a question.

I replied (with the answer).

I don't know if there were any Kiwis in the '91 squad.

I doubt it.

Well, if the ABs win the first test, then they will win it 3-0
They aren't the sort of team to give a consoloation win in the 3rd test.

If the Lions were to win the first and lose the second, they will lose the thirdm

So, the Lions have to win the first two matches.
When was the last time the ABs lost two in a row?

We do have some strength in depth, and could possibly win the first.
That is good enough in my book.

Where was my complaint Luz? It's great that NZ provide so many coaches and players for foreign countries. Rugby is a big export earner for us. Pointing that out isn't complaining. Especially when the players never had a chance of making the All Blacks. It's a win win situation for New Zealand.

Stephen, Sean Lineen was in the Scotland 91 team
You are off the pub team.
After him came many more, who were collectively called the kilted Kiwis.
