Munich 5 - Arsenal 1

Postby Stephen_Dedalus » Thu Feb 16, 2017 12:04 am

It's time to go Arsene, and you know it, and it will happen at the end of this season.

Just not good enough, again.

Yes it is boring to talk about this again, because it should have happened already.

Arsenal really should have had a few titles in the bag in the last 13 odd years, with one CL success, considering the stature and draw of the club.

Chelsea have left them behind to stagnate.

Wenger just seems to know nothing about the balance of a team. Did he get early success because he inherited a stable defence?

But, he has made great finds and contributed so much to the premier league.

I am conflicted.

Time to go though.

Spurs seem to be following their business model.

Surely, their manager might be swayed by larger available posts soon.

I do think it may be a signal for Wenger to go, time to wind down, retire and sit in the sun somewhere, drink plenty of beer and get fat.

The Prem league is a joke. The high level of mediocrity might make for a competitive domestic season but the lack of quality is pretty quickly exposed when English clubs or the England team face quality opposition. I don't buy into the hype.

Hype is understandable from the money people in the game, but it's SOOOOOO boring when fans constantly have to try and tell you it's the best league in the world. I couldn't give a toss whether or is our isn't; it's the league I watch and that's good enough for me. I'm not interested in deluded pissing contests.
