I think people get angry because a man, who is at least over 40, is relating his lust for pre-pubescent girls. His interest in a 12 yr. old's life , who he miraculously held off on "hitting on" officially, anyway, until she was the right age, is called grooming. I suspect his celibacy and "restraint" is aided by a rubber band on the wrist.

Yeah, uptight with younger sister. You obviously don't have any. if my father were party to Geo's behavior, he would have beat him senseless. I'm going out on a limb here but I'd bet the farm that Victoria doesn't have an involved father or older male relative to look out for her....

Grimjacx got it right, it's grooming behaviour, and I don't think it's acceptable to view it merely as a fun post. Geo should be fucking ashamed, the sick old paedo, not those who feel repulsed that a 50 odd year old man took a 12 year old girl under his wing.

He's a vile piece of work and if I were those girl's fathers, I'd beat the living shit out of him. But Urban's right, they're probably thousands of miles away, which suite Geo fine.

He's a sexual predator.

I barely scanned this post and thread before, but now I've read it, Jesus.

Holding off on a 12-year-old girl until she's 18? Holding off? You mean you wanted to? Fucking hell.

Creep.

Geez, nice debate... well, at least it's open to debate. I thought in the post-Liberal world only "politics" are open to debate (and THAT only when the debate is not about Racism, Global Warming or the inevitable need to go Socialist.... those topics are officially closed for debate amongst the Liberal Elite!)

I read a few posts...

Oddly enuff, Urbanny hit the nail on the head (though - true to her viciousness - it was the wrong head with the wrong implement...)

She said something about going after "young" vs "old" and, aside of her opinion of being age inappropriate being the worst offense one could even imagine i.e. even thinking of it deserves criminal prosecution and punishment... just in case one thought a "liberal" couldn't fantasize about mind control and persecution in their Ultimate Utopian Police State...)

The answer is quite simple. Yes. There is something about involving oneself with a "young" person that is completely non-existent in an "old" person. It reminded me of a movie where the lead characters (can't quite call him a "hero" any more than I would rergard myself as a villian...) is a photographer at a Wedding and falls in love with a teenage girl. If I remember, the mother of the girl is unsulted (jealous?) and has one of the Soap Box denunciantions to which he is not given a chance to respond...

"What Could You possible get from a Young Girl that you can't get from a Mature Woman (like me?) !!!"

Ah, well, "youth" - the pre-Life-experience and openess to Hope that is non-existent in a Mature Woman who has been thru it all and is as bitter and jealous and regretful as unflush shit.

I meet all sorts of "mature" women at work and in my salsa classes... but they - if they are single - are all as bitter as Hell. Heck, even I, as a single never married male, can't imagine what they are so bitter about??? They made choices. IN most cases they experienced Life in far more detail than I have... and, yet, they carrying so much baggage that a host of Pullman Porters would go on strike!

With a young person, you are dealing with a person who is still OPEN to the possibilities of Life! You see... feel... LIFE! Yeah, it maybe "creepy" (like a Vampire sensing fresh blood, blaaah!) but I feel that as long as you are upfront about it (and how can't one be... if I'm sitting with a girl less than half my age in the front row of the upper deck of "Midsummer Night's Dream" there's gotta be some "story" going on there, huh?

And, yes, I see how "me" trying to explain that - whatever - "sexual" interest I may have had was about a minor factor as my curiosity as to who she was texting at intermission (in fact, I would wanna know - even as a "friend" - who could possibly be more "interesting" than "me" so that she would feel the need to be texting - FAR more than ANY thought of us doing the deed.. or any deed... now that she officially has MORE experience than I have... and I say that with NO exaggeration...) there really is more to Life than "sex" per say. It's like trying to explain to a "pig" that there really are "pearls" and theyshould probably not "eat" them, but put them on and try 'em out....

Truth be told, the most interesting revalation of the evening was that - inspite of both of us having more than a passing interest in the ballet (and I've been on a couple of dates with women who expressed an interest in ballet, but they ended up being bored to tears by the 2nd Act) we were really not in synch! I was a bit surprised, never having seen "MSND" that the whole story is pretty much dispensed with in the 1st Act, before Intermission??? The 2nd Act is just a good excuse for the Ballet Company to show their stuff! Well, I was captivated by the story, while V found it confusing (I suggested she read the Cliff Notes before) while I was as bored as one of my past dates by Act II - while V was fascinated - by the TECHNIQUE - being displayed...

So, you see that even within the narrow scope of "Ballet" we were really not getting the same "umph" outta the piece (not a "sexual" allusion for those swine still trying to figure out the "pearl" angle...) So much so, that I went back to see my favorite ballet this last week Prokovief's "Romeo and Juliet" and I did NOT mention it to V on the slight chance that she might be interested because I wanted to experince the performance - alone - w/o explaining, w/o wondering, w/o "texting!"

Some wonder how a guy can have just celebrated his 52 B-day and never hooked up with a serious long term partner...

One just has to live one's Life w/o compromise and be willing to accept things being as they are.

And, no, one can be attracted to a person and not be "'sexually" into them... but I would have thought that might have been obvious and experienced by all non-swine???

Oh, btw, I was there when V's father died and attended his funeral. He knew I was "into" V way back in '98 when I spent the Christmas Holidays at their house... but then he married V's mother when she was 16 and he was already in the 40s.

Let's just say, different culture, different "rules" - which strikes me as hypocritical when so many "liberals" decry pushing our Western Stds on other peoples and other cultures... even to the point where Iraqis were "better off under Saddam" and the "Taliban throwing acid in little girls' faces because they went to school" and that "we" Western Imperialists should have NEVER gotten involved and should have left those people to their own morally equivalent devices...

I guess the infamous Socialist Secularist Tolerance is only to be imparted to generic 3rd World Victims... but used as a weapon of political destruction of disccusion when dealing with one's "enemies"

You went to visit a 13 or 14 year old at one of the world's most notorious sex tourist destinations - so much for holding off on hitting on the minor.

It's okay.

I'll keep 'em on file... and, like you, I'll only post the 1st response and not the "Oops - wwhat did I say?" part and use it against you as a weapon of political discussion...

On 2nd thought, naw. I'm not like that. I'll just leave those tactics to poetasters like Urbanny.

btw - funny, but I thought that a "sex tourist" actually has to HAVE sex...

I didn't know that NOT having sex or just "thinking" about having sex is the moral equvalent of the crime itself...

You see why I can't buy into the MOral Superiority of self described Socialist, Secularist Intellectuals... they equate the "thought" of crime with the crime itself... and - even when the perp says that they were not really thinking about the "sex" they go right to the conviction that THEY know what is in another person's mind and heart and are ready to burn the person at the stake...

Something tells me that people like Urbanny would have pefect Grand Inquistators. They just have a different rationale for persecuting people with whom they don't agree... to the point where they must get rid of them - ANYWAY and by ANY MEANS at their finger tips. How can Urbanny be opposed to torture? Oh, yes, I forgot, the mere accustauon is enuff - these people don't even care about getting a "confession" on thee rack.

sorry bud,

Your lame attempts to turns this around with your bs attacks on other posters and/or 'liberals' just doesnt cut it. I dont have a problem with you dating a woman less than half your age, but the fact you had your eyes on her is definitely not acceptable, and creeps out everyone here, especially those that have kids.

But yourslef in the reverse situation, imagine if you had a 12 year old daughter and some 'family' friend told you that he had her eye on her, how would you react? Pat him on the back and say, "cool dude, just wait till she's 18 and she's all yours?".

Oh as for your bs about liberals and our 'need' to be accepting of other cultures no matter what the differences, that is just 100% bs. I dont know a single liberal who looks on cultural poor treatment of women, children, racism, castes etc with anythnig but contempt. Matter fact it's conservative older white males like you that seem most happy to line up with abhorent practices in other cultures like female inequality that the modern west has long since abandoned.

Actually no mystery there at all:

One just has to live one's Life w/o compromise

Anyone with experience in an LTR will tell you that it's all about selective compromise for the greater success of the relationship. All the "life without compromise" talk is just a cop out. There will always be something wrong: her age, her career, her independence, her worldliness or lack thereof, etc. Opting for a lifetime of going to the ballet alone by default is a compromise too, and a pathetic, truculent one at that.

And I just have to point out the glaring contradiction in:

One just has to live one's Life w/o compromise and be willing to accept things being as they are.

Sheer, self indulgent idiocy. All it means you are projecting undeveloped and now seemingly fetishized ideals of perfection from your own juvenile years onto others as a justification for a less than complete life.

Let me quote it again for emphasis:
One just has to live one's Life w/o compromise and be willing to accept things being as they are.

That level of utter lack of self awareness merits enshrinement in somebody's sig line.

If Socialism is defined as a revulsion of a 50+ year old man grooming pre-adolescents with their third-world parents' consent then I admit to being a Socialist.

I’m guessing these 23 years olds would be more experienced and thus more mature in a relationship than you Geo. Imagine being dumped by someone half your age because you don’t have your shit together

I don’t care about the age difference but I do that think combined with the fact you are dangling US citizenship, offering them a bankroll and insisting they live with you, keep you company that it’s all very predatory

I’m not nearly as old as you Geo and I don’t have the patient to date a 25 year old, maybe fuck them and leave but to date…nope. One of my friends is dating a 25 year old and he is rather stunted and she is very annoying but that’s more of a coke addict / coke whore relationship so you can always go that route too

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Whoops...

Just when ya think a "thread" has worn out it's Life... I just have to addendum...

Somewhere back there, some poetaster (probably Urbanny - who takes NO interest in these matters... cough cough...) suggested what "I" would do if my Ukranian Princess, being only a young girl, would get a little frisky under our Platonic Arrangement and decide to get a little on the side in addition to the main course that I was offering (I think they even went so far as to suggest that I should accept such extra-maritualar activity and just pay for my perverted mistakes... probably the sentiment of the well diagnosed "dating dinner eater" who feel the height of feminism is to get a free meal out of "loser" guys and laugh at their gullibility...)

In any case - no. That would be a deal breaker i.e. IF she fell in love with someone, once she got here, he (she?) had better be able to pick up where I left off because I would simply assume my "platonic" commitment would be matched by the party of the 2nd part. If fact, I even wrote, in an earlier email last summer, that I could easily imagine how a young pretty girl might well fall for some young good looking guy and I would complete understand... "just make sure He is will willing to make the commitment that I would be willing to make... because You will probably want someone who will love you - more - than "i" to make it a happy Life..."

But I failed to mention, to my "fans" (who could ony wish that I end up alone and forgotten...) that this is all a moot point...

How did she put it?

"Oh, Geo***, don't be so silly! Naturally IF I do make such a deciding, I want to give You a part of my feeling to make You happy... that You do so much for me and I can not make you happy to??? How can not think me such a person that would take, take take and not realize how a good man YOU are to care so much about me and my Life???"

Nevertheless, she has decided to try everything she can to make it where her "home and family are" and she just got a job, four hours from her town by bus, translating for a French company that bought out a factory... but it is only "four weeks" so the Trials and Tribulations of my sweet go on...

Meanwhile...

Back Stateside, Yours Truly (I haven't had this much "action" since I spent a year traveling the Philippines and Indon!!!) Little Miss Text Msg.. sent me one...

"What's cukin' Geo??? No hear for a long time???"

I explainewd that I was a bit put off my the "texting" at the ballet and her was response was...

"Oh Dear, Oh Dear, I sound like a BAD girl. I'm gald you don't give me a spanking LOL!!!"

Uh?

Okay. Let's think about this...

It's starting to become pleasantly complicated. Obviously I have been given the opening with Option #2 - but she is a bit of a flake (bit???) and she IS the main connection that could get my Ukrainian Option #1 that translation job (should Option #1 decide that she wants to become a real option...) I can't afford to explore Option #2 w/o risking the carefully constructed project for Option #1...

Hmmm... okay. I've been texting (Yeah TEXTING) Option #2 about seeing a couple of French movies (UGH! FRENCH!!!) and I think I can play this one safe i.e. go out, no moves, just friends... and let the incongruity of not being hit on sink in for a good long while...

Then maybe Option #1 will come to her (practical) senses... and realize that I am HER best "option!"

Meanwhile, just to complicate things further, I asked a girl in Salsa Class - on a whim - if she wanted to catch Swan Lake next week... she was shocked that I asked her and has never seen a "ballet" but would love to... hmmm (oh, yes, she's more "age approproate" - probably an "old" early 30s???)

Are we taking our New Year's Resolution seriously enuff???

Oh, look, another "text"

Life is Friggin Hilarious!

g

(I may have to cut out my posting on this board (uproarious applause...) I'm finding it hard to find time to logon to the Internet when I texting all the time...)

btw - I spent the weekend taking my prototype "American" girl (40s) and her baby to my Indian friends in CT. She's been outta work and can't afford to get out of the city these days, so I am mister Nice Guy and do her a solid. Nice drive. Great Indian food. Her baby had a chance to get out in the fresh air and play with my Indian friend's baby... lotsa toys and juice and "Bolt" and "Ice Age III" and my prototype America gal's only regret was that we didn't have time to stop off at IKEA and check out some stuff (because self me wanted to get back in time for the Jets Game...)

You know, when you are raised in a Land where EVERYTHING is so possible, it's taken for granted... it's really hard to realize when someone is going out of their way to do you a "solid" and just be thankful for that... and THAT is why I find SO MUCH MORE satisfaction dealing with people from more humble parts of the world where one's generousity and consideration can be taken for more... than for granted. But that's just moi!

The Age Appropriate Girl doesn't seem to appreciate you because this is not how it's done by women who aren't as desperate as young women from "humble" regions. Even if age appropriate people from not-so-humble areas are of humble means, they are less likely to coquettishly flirt with such obvious intent in order to snag a meal ticket.

Okay. I confess... I DO have a diabolicaly motive for helping out single mom and baby (other than she was one of the - few - people who kept in touch with me when I was outta work...) She irritates me so much - inadvertantly - that she makes me GRATEFUL that Ii never fell, hook, line and sinker into the "trap" of being the, well ATM, for some Earth Mother who - once offspring are produced - see her mate as an expendible Mr Black Widow... not fit to "eat" but good enuff to sic a lawyer after if "he" fails to pay for his mistakes...

Whew!

Even if I do fuck up now... I'll be DEAD before I am dragged thru an IKEA and attached to the latest Ticker Toy Furniture assembly...

Okay Rant Over...

Naw. Text Girl is just flaky. Her Aunt is cut from the same fruit cake. One moment she can be looking straight into your eye, trying to understand why you think that Johnny Debb is a GREAT actor and why Brad is just the Pitts... and the next, she is distracted by a text from her friend (male? female? neuter?) and forget what you were talking about...

She wants to go to a Russian Orthodox Church, now, that I explained that Eastern Orthodox Christianity is much more based on the Virgin Mary and the "Mother" Church, down to the formation of the church as a "womb" and not a "cross" - but the next day she completely forgot...

Still! Keep the Eye on the Prize - she can get my Ukrainian Princess a job at the FBI as a French/English/Russian translator... so careful, careful...

I'm sure typing alone in your cold and dark apartment is more fun than enjoying the company of a woman whilst shopping.

Nah, Text girl is using you. She has no interest. AND she is flaky. Because she is young and figures using some besotted fifty-something-year-old for whatever is the easiest way to easy street. Sorry.

As for Age-Appropriate Woman, you realize that there ARE other age-appropriate women around who do not need a man to help support their children. But that was discussed in another thread. Ian's in your camp on that one BTW.

Seminal material for "Sad Bastards 101".

If the woman has a young child, she is probably still 15 years younger than Geo and barely age-appropriate if at all.

I have no doubt that her reliance on him is much exaggerated as he is a proven liar when it comes to making women seem like shrewish harpies. It suits his agenda which, evidently, has much to do with his mum feeding him soggy fish-fingers as a child before she went off to "date" strangers.

His demands that Little Ukraine Girl submit to a life of chastity if she won't let him fuck her betrays his true self - not a good guy trying to help out a struggling foreign teen at all but a dirty old man seeking total control over a child using the tools at his disposal - his citizenship and relative wealth. Sick, don't you think?

Dude, I seem to have the life you crave. (Yeah, that's an unsettling thought.) Going tonight to our third different production of Tosca this season with my 20 something SO, who will be able to knowledgably discuss each different cast's strengths and weaknesses.

Anyways, your post somehow brings to mind Act 2 -- Scarpia's attempted seduction of Tosca in return for her imprisoned lover, my PS namesake. (Probably comes across better in Italian with Puccini's music backing it up.)

TOSCA
What is your price?

SCARPIA
Yes, they say that I am venal, but it is not
For money that I will sell myself
To beautitul women. I want other recompense
If I am to betray my oath of office.
I have waited for this hour.
Already in the past I burned
With passion for the Diva.
But tonight I have beheld you
In a new role I had not seen before.
Those tears of yours were lava
To my senses and that fierce hatred
Which your eyes shot at me, only fanned
The fire in my blood.
Supple as a leopard
You enrapped your lover. In that instant
I vowed you would be mine!
Mine! Yes, I will have you …

Of course, after that she sings a swell aria and plunges a knife into his gut.

Well thanks Pez. Are you saying the Stew needs more opera references? I feel it kind of balances out the Jersey Shore posts.

Well, I'm not a big opera fan but you do tie the analogies to everyday examples that plebes can understand, and you're so urbane. I feel a bit more cultured now.

That's actually the only scene I LOVE in "Tosca" - the music that underscores Scarpa is soooo evil...

But while we are on this jag, I just ordered the "La Bohem" Blue-ray after seeing it at the Met last week... can't wait to check it out. My Texter wants to see it too... when she gets back from Florida....

Do feel "used" ? Na. On the positive side, she really does have a wide number of interests (even if she communicates in her ESL like a teenager) and, like said, she's already been married for a couple of years to a 30 year old guy and her last BF was a 40 year old guy... so she might be trading up! On the negative side - YES - she is the key to getting my Ukranian Princess over here... if she changes her mind... and I have to keep that option open by making sure that Miss Texter takes the "lead" in all matters... and I am fine wit' that.

Following thru on my New Year's Resolution - I asked yet ANOTHER girl out from my Salsa class... but she's non-commital and I don't ask thrice....

Only if the 40 year old were a fat, ugly, bald, misogynistic, angry, suburban, racist, narcissistic loser with paedophilic tendencies and no sexual experience...
Nope, that's a younger verson of you and she still wouldn't be trading up!

Well, of course that's the usual poetaster lie... suprised it doesn't include pedophila and necrophilia...

Quite to the contrary, MY claim to fame is being "banned" from the Philippines for being "bad" for the Sex Tourism Industry as I spent six months in the country and three more in Indonesia and didn't "bang" a single girl... forget working girls, I didn't even bother to... what was the phrase...

Dude, can't you go out on a regular fucking date?

With any of the real girls that I met along the way. Nor have I ever engaged the services of a prostitute in my Life... nor have I really wanted to...

Yes, yes, I know - it's the overt political need to assassinate anyone who doesn't follow the party line and a lot of the sentiments expressed here would be easily translated into action if there was a Hitler or Stalin to give one the wink of the eye... heck, a number of these poetasters have no serious problem with the death sentence that Islamists passed on Rushdie... they just don't agree with the political objective, because it is overtly religious.

But, no, I think I am far more interesting than my "fans" could ever hope to castigate me...

In any case, I just switched my Life Ins Bene from my bro' to my (current) Idea. I'll probably switch it several more times before I kick the bucket (or the bucket, kicked by someone else hits me...) but I just have this deep feeling, this premenition that I don't have much time left and I NEED to set my house in order (heck, I need to clean it up!) and it would give my some measure of comfort to know that my end would be worth more than the $50 of bio-digradable chemicals that my body might to boiled into... do they accept 50 year old stem cells in the Soylent Green Utopia of Obama Care???

Think of it - I'd be gone but more money that I could have ever saved off would be going to someone who could - and would - do much better with it than I ever would have... there's gotta be some redemption in that - just in case I am wrong and there is a lowest chamber in Bali Hell.. reserved for Bachelors...

No,just either ask out a normal woman or go on a dating site or anything. Someone reasonably within your age range who is also looking to date and just have dinner with them FFS.

Just saw a woman on TV who says she needs health insurance so badly that she's willing to marry any joker. She's 45 and quite pretty.

Hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Geo talks about his attraction for 12 year old girls and then he feels that he is being victimized for his political beliefs?

He brags on here about grooming children and then accused those who berate him for it as being like Hitler.

The sick old paedo needs locking up for the rest of his life, away from little girls.
