Life is really Funny... Really!!!

Postby GeoDaddy » Thu Jan 07, 2010 2:10 am

Setting "Politics" aside for the moment...

So, when last I admitted my vain attempts to lure the lovely Yulia to the USA on a GeoDaddy VISA were all come to not... I was actually in the midst of brainstorming with her about what she - could - do (now that her EU Scholarship went by way of the washed away interest in joining the Ukraine to the West and leaving it to rejoin Tsar Putin's Russia as the vassal state it's always been...) we talked about Dentistry or Nursery (no, she's not THAT young!) and picking up Microsoft Office skills so that she could work in any modern office... but we ended up with the agreement that her translation skills are her strongest asset. She picked up Conversational English very quickly. She speak passable French and has enough German to carry on a conversation with GeoGermanDaddy... but she has a difficult time spending long hours infront of the computer and had to quit the one job she was able to get... spending eight hours a day translating documents from German to Russian and vice versa... for $10... a DAY! She said she had headaches every night she left the office.

But I keep thinking...

Then, as fortune would have it, I spent Thanksgivings at my adopted Dominican Family (13 years in a row) and my friends little sister... works for NYU as a Medical Translator, Creole to English and vice versa, based on her two year living in France. Voila! She offered to take Miss Yulia under her wing, so to speak, and said that Yulia could do voluteer work for a year, as a Face-to-Face Translator, getting her medical translation certifications, then start making $35 to $40 an hour... or more if she wanted to work with her aunt at the FBI using her knowledge of Russian...

So, back Project Yulia.

Here was my re-packaged proposition. Yulia comes here, learns her skills, stays as long as she needs to gain her citizenship and - then - decide whether she wants to make a go of here, or return to her homeland - but with more than "skills" but, also, experience... I even took the whole "'sex" thing off the table, stating that IF she decided to stay, I could get a "two bedroom" apartment and she could have her privacy (how does one, delicately, tell someone that "sex" is not an issue???) Personally, the whole thing appealed to me as a Grand Last Gesture, before I get ready for my dirty nap.

Well, Yulia - after exhausting aplogies and explanations and gratitude for my "persistance" - kinda stated that she would rather stay at home and be with her family and friends - even if things get "worser and worser" - because she feels like she may not be as "ambitious" as she thought she was...

Oh, I'm sure if this came from a more age-appropriate fellow the "homebody" issue would be moot, so I can only connclude she does not want to feel in any way obligated to someone she has no feelings for and, in an ironic way, I actually feel that my 1st impression - that she was a completely honorable person - was completely correct. But it is an odd fact of humanity that people - even as honorable as Yulia - who would feel guilty taking advantage of my generosity... feel NO sense of "obligation" when, say, Western European taxpayers would pick up thee tab for her EU Scholarship...

(Okay, a little "politics")

But this is not the "funny" part...

Victoria - and let's get this out there - I fell some kind of "love" with Victoria back when she was a mere 12 years old (she looked 18!) because she was SO into ballet and art and (Spanish) Literature... I held off until she came to the States at - and actual - 18 from the DR before I officially "hit" on her and she - too - let me know that she could have no "feelings" for me, but only as a "friend" Well, back then, I was really only interested in an actual "relationship" so I begged off the "friend" thing and... V sent me such a angry email - think of Urbany on a PMS jag - about "you mens want only one thing!!!"

But my instincts (as usual) weren't all that off... within a year she met and married a French fellow - twenty years her senior - and moved to Paris. Things didn't work out and she came back and, unable to continue her ballet due to a foot injury, she got into the Medical Translation field based on her indepth knowledge of French. She's been back over a year and yet I wasn't aware of all this History until this last Thanksgivings...

Which brings up to the present...

V asked, when I spent Christmas at my 2nd house, about how Yulia took to my offer... I let V know that it was unlikely to happen... details, details... and V felt bad that she was gonna pass up such a "brilliant" opportunity. Then the conversation took a completely different and unexpected turn... she let it be known that she was sorry about her angry email, that it was just a silly thing and she hoped it didn't hurt my feelings because - she said - no one had ever been so considerate as I had been and taken her dream to become a ballerina more seriously than all but her mother. Then she talked about how she was so busy at work, she no time to "date" and the guys her brother hooked her up with every now and then were really just "boys" and...

Yeah, I wanted to tape this and play it back later to make sure that I wasn't inserting things I would have liked to hear...

We should spend some time together, you know, maybe, huh...

?

!

:-)

Can I be blamed if I spent New Year's Eve at the Evangelical Church so I could see Victoria Dance for the midnight gathering?

We just got off the phone and we're gonna see "Midsummer's Night Dream" at the American Ballet Theatre...

But we were talking about a lot of other stuff... kinda like I used to talk to Miss Katy waaay back when I was still... "young"

Could I be a New Year's Resolution?

Isn't Life Funny - no - really - I mean really, really funny?

g

p.s. The only thing that wouldd make it friggin' hilarious is IF Yulia calls now and said she had thought about my offer over the Holidays and would really, really like to change her mind, if that's okay with moi?

To summarize you bombed out chasing after some young thing thousands of miles away less than half your age and finally realized what should have been obvious in the first place that there are great women your own age that are attracted to you and you to them. Imagine that!

Congrats on the new girlfriend.

You got it wrong...

Victoria has to be preety young still

came here at 18, married in a year, Paris for 2 years and back home for lets say at least 2 years....I'd guess 23-25 if I follow this correctly (or do I have the players confused?)

Anyway, it’s about as funny as a train wreck

Geo pegs V as a gold digger and she proves him right in Paris. Then her meal ticket expires and now she is taking another look at Geo…..and he is excited about it even though he has avoided relationships on the professed grounds that women are whores only after his money and that’s not what he wants…yet, that’s all he really wants it appears by his actions and words here

And the implications of such and the ages involved make it all rather predatory, whore-mongering

His pursuit of Yulia makes no sense, why does he persist?

Because he is full of shit and wants in her pants and thinks it might happen if he sits her up in his correct situation. Notice, he only offered to share a 2 bed-room apartment, not her own apartment, the deal is always based upon her living with him and at his mercy.

and he credits Yulia with being a good person for not wanting to take advantage of his sex-less generosity but it should be clear to anyone, as it seems clear to Yulia and Victoria that they both had him pegged all along….Yulia knows the sex-less bit is bullshit, even if Geo convinced himself, she can see through it and she must have felt a deep creep to want to avoid any obligation or indebted to him – and Geo gleefully muses that he hopes Yulia gets desperate enough to change her mind, move in with him so the 2 will fight over his wallet (again, showing how fucking clueless he is about people and everything….)

Geo just took us to a new low, bravo, keep them coming

Yes, Victoria is somewhere around 24? years, young. I haven't bothered to try and figure it out because "age" is unimportant... to me... cough, cough.

Cowtows reminds me of the "typical" guy who realy only thinks with his dick... I wouldn't be surprised if an autopsy was made to find the "brainstem" being thee ureatha. No, I know this "guy" thing and 90% of guys operate on this level (even "gay" ones) and I have never gotten along with this kind of animal mindset... which is probably why 90% of my friends are of the fe-male variety.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have a healthy interest in sex. It's just that my sexual interests as an adolescent where SO pointless that I pretty much learned how t o take care of myself so that my sexual drive did not cloud my judgement when dealing with women... I am too "ordinary" looking to really get caught up in the whole fe-male mating need to find the Silverback. Taking sex off the table makes things get real - real fast i.e. I'm not gonna play the "IF You're a Good Boy" role. I'm not a dog (and I suspect that Cowtoes would have a loud "woof" to say to that!) so I don't need to be treated like one.

Either I am lying (and, unlike most poetasters who seem to have a great need to present themselves as something completely different from what they ARE in REAL Life... who's BP's Man Boobs coming???) or I am simply stating MY PERSONAL choices in living MY LIFE and I don't really care whether people think it's weird or creepy or interesting... just so long as it is not boring. And I DON'T expect ANYONE to live like me... I encourage 'em NOT to as it's a tuff road to hoe.

If my fans wanna believe that I traveled for eight months thru the Philippine and Indonesia and did not "sleep" with one single girl... or that I had a realtionship for just over a year... during which I spent the last eight months abstaining from sex, entirely.... or that I would be perfectly fine if Yulia came here... got a fresh start with her Life and we just lived together, quite frankly like I lived for months with Mandy from Malaysia or Tyas from Indonesia, and IF she changed her mind about me... great... if not, well, I would have taken great satisfaction in getting her set up anyway. The one line I would draw in the sand would be that she would not live with me... now that's just silly. I didn't need to have "sex" with her... I was only mildly attracted to her anyway... but I DID enjoy having her around. It was, quite frankly, like having a "daughter" and I could enjoy it on that level alone... the "daughter" I never had. I just loved to her her talk about Life and I particularly loved the way she was just open to all the new experiences that we shared in the little time we had together... from looking straight up at the skyscrapers of Manhattan... to her wide eyed amazement watching "Hairspray"... to her curiosity in entering a White Steeples Church... or to her rolling down the truck window and having the cool Spring air blow thru her hair and singing some Ukrainian song about being Free... couldn't understand a single word... but I will remember it forever...

But that is past...

And tomorrow, Victoria and I are going out on our 1st date... and I can't think of the last time I had one of these???

Physically? Mentally? Emotionally?

Again. I meet a LOT of peeps (like those on this board) and - when you get into the details of THEIR lives (IF they are even willing to devulge...) I don't find a lot to stand on any "moral soapbox" for... most simply take the easier route by settling for what is do-able and just living wit' it!

But these is a common thread amongst "liberals" that - while they profess "tolerabce" - their actual socialist, secularist values are far from "tolerant" (outside of the approved deviations from what most people consider "normal") and downright Totalitarian about what "people" should do... within the collective i.e. "gay marriage" - good - "age inappropriate relationships" BAD! They should be legally BANNED! It's just that they can't quite some up with the EXACT number of years that should be prohibited by law 5 years? 10? 20? 30? 50?

Luckily, MOST people are now "conservative" and they have a health respect for Human Nature not really conforming to socialist agendas and the variety of choice in the way we choose to live our lives is still a FREEDOM (and they don't need to assume that a perference for youth does not, automatically, mean seriel killer... especially when "liberals" are the 1st in line to defend pedophiles and child killers....)

In any case, if there is any interest in the UPDATE let me know... otherwise I'll just keep things to myself and keep my post confined to bashing - and well deservedly so - Da Obama.

I think that we can safely say that Geo has earned his Stewbie as creepiest poster of the year yet again.

I pegged Geo as someone with ephebophilia - a preference for late adolescent partners with adult physical characteristics. Not hard to see why. A fully mature woman would scare the bejeezus out of him.
But now having read his "love a 12 year old" fantasy, I may have to downgrade him.

Guaranteed: Another rejection and angry rant before the end of the month. Just when I thought he couldn't get any creepier, he finds a way.....

I've had LTR's on both sides of the age fence - no judgements there. Other than yeah, if you are going to publicly air your lust for your friend's 12 year old daughter, please don't expect any other reaction that disgust. I'm sure there are websites where your musings would be better received, but those are probably monitored by the FBI.

It does seem like, candid postings notwithstanding, you do prefer to keep people at a distance - culturally, geographically, and temporally. That up to now, no one has been really interested in bridging those distances in any meaningful way is perhaps not surprising, and, ultimately, for the best.

Oh, I thought it was clear...

I am not talking about anyone's 12 year old kid...

No. I 1st saw "V" when she was 12 years old and was transforming from a gymnast to a ballerina... and I don't mean I was "sexually" in love with her. I was in love with her commitment (having failed in my youth, as a dancer, then opera singer... after failing at football, basketball and baseball...) No I was totally into her - grueling - two hours a day routine at the ballet school in the Dominican Republic and we kept in contact email contact for all those years. I was rooting for her and I was willing to make a similar commitment that I made to Yulia i.e. no "sex" just being a part of her Life.

Oddly enuff, when I heard she hurt her foot and would not be able to continue with her ballet career... truth be told, a lot of my interest drained away. The "speciality" of the relationship was gone.

I think the problem here is that when I talk about "love" or "attraction" or just plain "interest" the majority of people (and all poetasters) immediately and ONLY think "sex" - but "sex" has not been a big part of my Life and my greatest attractions to - the few - women I have been into has had little to do with "sex" or even a strong attraction. I know that because I get a hardon for strippers and GROs and overtly sexual girls on the make... but I'd think myself as stoopid if I thought they were material for a real relationship. Nope. I am into something quite intangible that gives me a feeling of "meaning" or "beauty" when I see someone like Victoria struggle thru hours of routines (I was the only "guy" who took Ballet in HIgh School so I know of what I speak) or when I see someone like Yulia struggle between pushing the boundaries of Life, or settling for staying with her family and friends, even it that means a very tuff Life.

So, I know this doesn't make any sense to any of my "fans" (who only need to use anything I share as a weapon to win "political" arguemnets) it's like the Liberal HATRED for GW Bush or Sarah Palin, pretty decent people by all accounts, but - being NOT of the collective - they must be ridiculued, lied about and deomonized... it's just par for the course.

No problem.

So, okay. I'll drop it. I thought it would have been interesting,

Poor Geo. Time after time, his posts indicate his physical attraction for barely legal-age women and, repeatedly, his distaste for older females. Yet, when criticized, he backs off and claims it's because of their determination to dance or love of culture as if these traits can only found in the under 20s. I'm not sure if he is trying to fool himself or merely save face in front of the board.

What do you suppose he offered Victoria in return for cohabitation and a "platonic" relationship?? A new pair of ballet shoes and a tutu??

The whole 12 year old thing sort of takes away the most telling part of the post, that Geo is willing to take "the sex thing" off the table with Iulia.

Geo, here's a tip. This isn't 1895. Chicks like it when you DO have an interest in having sex with them. I know that sounds amazing, but they're not offended if you eventually do want to have sex with them. The problem is, they need to also like and desire you, and you come across as a bizarre eunich who listens to too much Sean hannity.

You guys are really, really harsh on Geo.

I'd like some of you to share your thoughts, fears, or desires with the forum and see what kind of response YOU get.

I'm not gonna speak for Geo but I doubt that he was in "lust" with a minor. At least that's not what I got out of it. I could see where there was some misunderstanding but you cretins are going to run another interesting poster off this forum because you don't like what he has to say.

I know most of you don't like geo because of his views on women....but at least it's different. At least it's not the status quo. At least he doesn't form his opinions on what's popular now.

All of you should be ashamed.

Deeply ashamed.

Geo has this Calvinist idea that lust is bad and that attractive women are scheming whores.

He would be better off if he converted to Islam and moved to a Gulf state, like Yemen.

Scott, there's only one way to interpret:
I held off until she came to the States at - and actual - 18 from the DR before I officially "hit" on her

Agreed, overall it's a different view of things and aspects of it are interesting. But the underage aspect is too distasteful to let pass without mention. Besides, I hardly think near universal chastisement is a deterent to the OP. He has already posted a follow up OP with his pubescent take on his evening at the ballet.

I will say this to Geo. A common interest is nice for a friendship or a concert companion, but not enough to build a relationship on. Believe me, I made that mistake once with a guy I hooked up with a symphony concert. I'll never get those four months back.

Also, to further Joey's point: what allowances for Yulia's sexual fulfillment have you made in your grand scheme, outside of your proposed nonsexual domestic arrangement? Or is she expected to remain celebate for the duration?

Yulia wants to get jammed. If Geo doesn't supply the dick, she will find a dude that does.

No doubt. But is that allowed in the house that Geo built?

I agree with you....it definitely comes off as "creeptastic".

BUT...I don't think he meant it that way AND he explained what he was trying to say.

What is Geo going to do when she wants to find some romance? I don't their arrangement surviving that, and I do see it as inevitable.

Not buying it. He's just backpeddling. He clearly wanted to be more than a supportive older friend to the newly arrived 18 yr old:

Well, back then, I was really only interested in an actual "relationship" so I begged off the "friend" thing

What's with the overuse of "quotes" anyway? What are those meant to denote besides bitterness and cynicism? And how could exposure to such a bitter, cynical soul be healthy for any young person?

Maybe. I'm not defending him. I just think that calling the guy a paedo is kind of harsh.

Some of the women on this site get really shrill when Geo posts. It's almost like a gut reaction for them.

Like I said, I've dated well beyond the standard age difference lines in both directions. (Not something I look for, but not something I write off immediately either.) I know the pros and cons. But, given Geo's stated proclivities so far, I'm not about to volunteer constructive advice. I simply don't want to be a party to it. If he is not representing his intentions clearly, then he needs to know that too. Though I doubt what we are talking about here is simply a grave lack of social skills.

And Scott, you know and I know that posting for reaction on the Stew is inherent part of El Geo's bizarre dating modus operandi, such as it is.

Yep, and there was another post months ago about a 13 year old. I'd peg him a hebophile, if he's being serious, which is somebody who chases 11-14 year old girls in the early stages of puberty.

Geo over the years has posted about young girls, I remember him on the Mens Room over at LP. Not someone I would wish to associate with on any level.

Pretty funny that the minute there is the slightest hope of the barest whiff of untapped poon, all Geo's "All women are whores, I don;t want one, I'm a virgin because as a conservative I understand how horrible people are" bullshit goes flapping out the window.

Oh--did I use the words "pretty" and "funny" in this post?

Sorry.

Hideously vomit-inducing is what I meant to say.

I thought he was in his late 50's or older. He's made statements about how 'his generation' know how to work or understand the value of loyalty to their employer or some such thing, etc. etc.

Maybe Geo's age requires a poll.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Geo's just using his US citizenship and the potential it has to create another US citizen to get a girl.

For a poor country person it's the same as wealth.

Wealth, power, and high status are proven winners in the mating game.

Is it because Geo is 'cheating' that people are getting angry? He didn't earn his passport?
