Tph -

I don't think I've ever seen a Mod actually fake quotes before. Interesting. Desperate, but interesting.

But kudos for mentioning dishonesty in the same post! That must take some real self awareness.

You initiated a thread and have not posted one of your own ideas. The closest you cam ewas an offer to PM NG with new ideas. One would think that this is a golden opportunity for you to bring a breath of fresh ari to this rotten board

This is one of these idiotic "why do you hate our freedom" arguments. Soda, no one is opposed to new posters and ideas - contrary to your strawman argument. And your obtuse, elusive "I have ideas!" retorts are reminiscent of the McCarthy communist witch hunts where he would claim to have grand proof yet never provide it.

However, the question still remains: How do you plan on obtaining new posters and ideas through a change in mods? Please, inquiring minds want to know.

Actually I've answered this, I'm not sure, probably 4 or 5 times now.

If people are not interested in change, new ideas or new posters, then there isn't much point in my detailing them. Fairly early in the thread I mention having some kind of working group, ideally being the new team of mods, who could throw ideas from different people around, prune and refine them, and then present them to the forum to vote on. I still like that idea, and I still have some ideas.

Given we know Tph, Dude and Joey are totally, vehemently opposed to this process, it remains to be seen if it will go any further.

Anyone who is actually interested, I'm happy to PM.

No I don't . Judging by the chronology of events surrounding this thread, it is more like an attempt to have TPH removed as a mod.

I have a suggetion, next time you chose to attack a poster , make it more direct and open.

Tph -

By the way, do you understand that some posters might not think that a Mod should actually indulge in things like faking peoples quotes?

I know some posters weren't comfortable with your deleting their comments from the board a while back - this seems to be in a similar vein.

Dude -

You do work hard to avoid the obvious. This board has a lot bigger issues than tph as a mod. It seems to me that the number of regular posters has been falling slowly for 2 or 3 years bow, and that the place seems to rely more and more on the same old boring feuds is less interesting than it used to be is a given, I would think.

The big issues here - and the one you are so desperate to avoid discussing, presumably out of sheer closed mindedness - is whether the place needs a general make over. Not just mods, but discussion of everything from the forums to the TOS to the look of the place and technical features.

If all I wanted was to see Tph removed as a mod, I would have focused on that. Given his tendency to delete posters comments while he is feuding with them, and as we see here - to make up quotes from other posters - I imagine you can see why I don't think he's Mod material. If you like the guy - vote for him in any Mod election.

If you are going to talk about honesty, please address the issue of you faking posters quotes. Is that honest?

At this point, no. But that's only because how you have behaved. Soda, had you put forth your ideas initially rather than playing this game, a discussion could have been had about recruiting and livening this place up.

Start a new thread. Put forth your ideas in the OP and ask others to respond to your ideas and add their own. It's really not that difficult.

But do you really think I'm going to throw them, young and frail, before the befanged and rabid spammers?

If people are interested, then let's discuss them. If not, then forget the whole thing. It's not like I spent hours making powerpoint slides.

I'm not, and your trolling is getting old.
here's the summary:

-Soda attacks Tph in another thread
-Soda then starts this OP to further the attack, but tries to "disguise" his intentions
- No one bites on the mod elections, Soda looks dumb, so he tries to troll regarding "making any changes" here, comes up with no ideas, but gets to launchfurther attacks on TPH in the process.
- Soda maintains a false air of obstinancy and superiority, when all he comes across as is stupid.
- No one runs to soda's side.

- Soda maintains a false air of obstinancy and superiority, when all he comes across as is stupid.
- No one runs to soda's side.
