You serious?
The biggest lie Soda told on here seems to me to be to do with qualifications, and half the folk I know have fudged those or experience on a CV.

Felix has told us he's gay, engaged to be married, and worst of all used someone else's tough experiences with drug addiction to spin us a yarn about rehab. I reckon you're right about there being no competition, but think you're looking at the wrong target. Apart from anything else, this is the 2008 awards, and Soda's not been about since May..

Duly noted, Milty. But still, Soda's fantastic approach to his backstory - a very elaborate delusion which he may have actually believed it - was without par.

As far as the Devil's Advocate Category, once again it's a rigged vote. How could anyone compete with Candy who frequently contradicted himself on various threads just to defend the "victim of the day?"

Well done Scott. Great thread. Your intros to the individual polls below made me laugh, sometimes out loud.

Now that I've got that good cheer out of the way, I feel justified in continuing to nip at your heels for the next 12 months.

"Daddy Stew" sounds creepy. You could word it "Most Paternal," so it doesn't sound like a guy saying "come'ere and tell daddy what you want for Christmas," then you find out he's wearing no pants.

You're such a bean bag.

A poster PM'ed me the category for Most Pompous Political Prognosticator and I thought it was funny. Naturally, your name came up.

--The poster who PM'ed me with the suggestion.......PM'ed me at 3:52PM

--I PM'ed the poster back at 3:58PM to tell the poster that I thought it was a good idea and it would be funny.

--korgy made his comment about my mother fascination at 4:05PM. The decision to do the category happened before you started your attack on me.

Of course, I can document all of this and korgy is talking out of his as usual.

why on earth do you think i'm humorless from those posts? half the time when i read something others think is humorless, i'm grinning or laughing.

Scotty - can you make it a rule that these awards can't involve cringeworthy bollocks in the justification?

Or at least have another award for whichever award thread contained the most awful chat?

Not knocking your awards, the idea is great, but when I read about folk "sitting up and taking notice" whenever a certain poster speaks, or that someone is a "highly rated" poster, I want to poke my eyes out with AIDS-sticks.

Please people, anytime you take the internet seriously, you've lost. And your family have lost. And you'll never win. And If I catch up to you, you won't shit right for a fortnight.

Another famous poster uttered: "I have known non-whites who thought of themselves as expats."
