According to your own reply, you are afraid of stating it because I might make fun of it? What a man!!! Fucking coward on so many levels.

Once again, it's your lack of comprehension at fault once more. I'm not afraid of stating it because you (or anyone else) may make fun of it. It's because it's primarily none of your business, and while there are additional reasons - reflected in the way you reply to and behave towards people on these forums - it's also because you link importance and status to job role, something I don't do, regardless of the function I hold.

Oh, so you can't say what you do for a living because you are afraid of me???? What a lame ass and coward. Is your job so disgusting? Really, as per your replies, you don't have much of a brain, so it must be a simpleton job.

You're charming. So far we have:

lame ass
coward
Fucking coward
most pretentious fuck
pretentious prick
you just seem like a jerk
you are just a jerk

And I was so looking forward to inviting you to dinner, too. Sadly, I don't expect the other superior, important dinner guests would look favourably upon such language so I will have to retract the invitation.

Is your job so disgusting?

Is there such a thing as a disgusting job? Some elements of plumbing or cleaning might not be so pleasant, admittedly.

Really, as per your replies, you don't have much of a brain, so it must be a simpleton job.

Who is the simpleton - the simpleton, or the person who replies to the simpleton expecting something other than the simpleton saying simpleton things while not at his simpleton job?

Hard to say since you don''t want to say what your job is. I imagine it is sweeping up the street in EuroDisney.

My Two Cents:
There is nothing wrong with refusing to disclose personal information about oneself here. In fact, due to the great number of whackos who post here (and who posted on TTT) it would be dumb to do so.
In any event, there is no guarantee that any such posted personal information is true. How much of what Dieter posted on TTT YC about himself and his life was true?

Again, you are a friggin' coward in all respects. Sure, it is nice for any person to throw out shots at people without any base, however, we have been here for 8 years. Pretty much everyone knows who everyone is and what they do, but you, yes YOU, cannot, after 8 years confess what you do for a living. Great....don't tell you kids, if you have any, and, maybe, tell your family on your deathbed.

I was there, and nobody stole anything from Jelly. And we did pour him into a cab, nobody from the restaurant was helping us. We were also the last ones to leave, and it was no where near closing time.

But Jelly's version is pretty entertaining. Just curious - did you kick in the extra $ in cash or on the debit card?

That "pretty much everyone" has explained what they do, whether in small or large part, doesn't strike me as sufficiently good reason for me to volunteer information about my own livelihood. That sounds suspiciously like an attempt to leverage a peer group for the purposes of applying pressure, and although I hope I haven't taken Avalon's name and profession in vain, any schoolteacher will tell you it's no bad thing to say no.

Great....don't tell you kids, if you have any, and, maybe, tell your family on your deathbed.

My family and friends are perfectly aware of what I do. I find it strange that you, of all people, should attempt to conflate or compare yourself with either of those social categories.

I think it was pretty stupid for eric84 to do that (if it's true).

I wonder if it was me looking in on joey's twitter acct if he'd fear for the safety of his children or whatever?

That's a big hypothetical question because there's a nearly zero chance of me trying to figure out his name and look him up. And if I did, how would he know it's me?

Is it possible to get any personal info from just an email address? I thought you had to include your name and it would only show up if you sent a message to someone.

Correctomundo. IMO, if it happened, JR's real name got out through mutual friends on social media.

Incgonita; don t disagree or tell a different story. You will be the next JB will lash out at.
You clearly saw Ian take the wallet of JB and run a tab with his credit card. You left the restaurant a 9pm and it is clear that the staff helped JB onto a cab. tsk tsk

Welcome to the Stew.

JB's story is full of holes and lacks any gratitude for the fact that he got home in one piece. To try and scrape through a night with a hundred bucks in the wallet, even allowing for some stray notes that might have been in his wallet already, is a bit of a joke. Its not like the piss up is in Bali or somewhere cheap. How does he expect to have lasted 9hrs or so on the juice without having split the hundy numerous ways? If the taxi fare home was expected to be more than forty was he honestly expecting to get through the drinking session on the balance? What goes on at these pissups, don't you all buy each other drinks?

How he can be so convinced at someones culpability without much recollection of the night besides ingraving his forehead in a table and managing to ditch his cell phone?

He won't come back to it though, Leela. That's his MO. Once he's been clearly shown to be wrong or making stuff up or being disingenuous (as often in his anti-liberal/Obama/whatever posts on the Politics branch) he never comes back to the thread to address it.

Yup, but he will fly off the handle into a rage at you if you don't answer something he asks you, such as what you do for a living or where you work or how much money you make. It's frightening to think of what he is doing to his 'clients' who may already be in a delicate mental state.
